It's an opinion. He did back it up. Didn't like Wentz's record against good teams, his durability, his turnovers. I disagree with him, but jeesh.

I guess my point is that we can't have good, civil conversation if half the blog flips out at an unpopular opinion about one of our guys.

Are you new here?

I didnt think he turned the corner, i thought his 2017 season was smoke and mirrors and he was still just an average slot receiver that benefitted from being on a really good team.

You were right. Only caveat is he isn't even average.

Sadly I have eaten the last of my venison hot sausage from last year. I'm happy to report though that hunting season is only 2 1/2 months away.

Are you not familiar with beast? Sadly, he doesnt care one bit about reason or objectivity. Sadly, now a bunch of grown men will go to bed crying about the things he said in here.

I suspect he will be banned.

6ers won their scrimmage yesterday.  Simmons was 1/2 from the 3 point line.

Phillies still suck.

Simmons is a legit bomber👽His shot looked better, elbow not flaring out as much and he didn't hesitate either time.  And he is now at his natural position, with the starting 5 at least.  Phils, well, Klentak sucks, but this line up should hit, though Rys doesn't deserve to be in the 2 hole, he needs to be 7-9 or on the bench.   And Realmuto at 4 is a bummer.  He us a 5 all day.  Not a cleanup hitter.  I think Rys will hit (not hit) his way down the lineup, but Realmuto will remain at cleanup as the only other choice is Bryce and he needs to be #3.

We found a good venison jerky recipe. Jalapenos, Wooster sauce with some other spices and of all things Dr Pepper.

If you're interested i can dig out the recipe.

Baseball is boring. Not so bad if you're at the game.

Last MLB game i went to was at the Vet with some English friends who were visiting.

Banned? For hurting feelings on a football message board , because of a differing opinion  ?

Grow up.

In the future,  just say beast please stop , I don't agree with you and you are starting to upset me.

And I will stop ,believe it or not I dont come here with intentions of hurting feelings.

Baseball on the tube is good for a nap on a saturday.

Going to games is good for taking a nap in a plastic seat  around a bunch of strangers.

Surprise surprise.  I think it's petty.  Nonetheless,  I also think it's a notch in his belt to get banned.  His or her plan all along, so rather than ruining their day, it made their day.  In conclusion,  nice job by the board to make a poster happy.

As for Carson, just so glad he is an Eagle.  He learned,  the last half of the season, out of necessity, to take the open throw and I hope it carries over to this season.

It's funny how the game was exactly the same without fans.  Boring is boring.

I actually thought you were banned as you stopped posting mid discussion.

Having said that if anything you posted yesterday was ban worthy then i think wed all be at risk of being banned.

Having said that your point about wins against winning teams is a flawed metric.

I think the only time that can be arguable is in the playoffs and Wentz has one playoff game/ quarter played

Having that limited info i think the conclusion one could draw is that wentz hasnt been available for post season games and the best ability is availability.

Having said that i dont think that drops him out of the top 8-10 qbs

What he did down the stretch last year with not a whole lot was pretty amazing and sure pederson should get credit as well for  adjusting his game plan and wentz deserves credit for executing that plan effectively No?

Yup he wasnt forcing throws or holding onto the ball for 6 seconds waiting for a big play to develop, just dropped back and got the ball to the open man.

Good game plans by Doug great execution by wentz!

Dare I ask, why?

Surely the media hacks will ask him about a cap that could be down a Fletcher Cox cap hit next year.

I was pretty critical of Wentz last year, especially early on, because of this.

I really hoped / expected that coming in to the season that he would have shown much more progression this way (getting rid of the ball quicker).

Its always been the best way to succeed in Dougs offense, hence why Foles did so well.

Was pleased to see him grow in this dept over the course of last season, and will be the number one thing I evaluate him on this year.

He has ALL the tools, he just has to be willing to not let himself fall in the trap of old habits.

There will be spots where he will need to use his athleticism, he just has to be smarter about when and how much.

There will always be risk playing QB in the NFL, the great ones learn how to mitigate it more than the others.

Yup. I think wentz is a deep ball big throw qb. Dude has a cannon for an arm and he is always looking for the big play and dougs offense route progression is deepest to mid to short problem is wentz holds onto that deep part of the progression way too long and gets in trouble.

Part of that last year was not having a deeo threat then not having any WR threat to the point Wentz was kind of forced to just go through his progression and find the open man.

Kind of a blessing in disguise for Wentz.

Hopefully with the new additions at WR and if deseanncan stay healthy Wentz will have his deep threat and hopefully that doesnt mean he goes back to old habits of holding the ball too long.

Hopefully he can find a balance.

does 100-300 yards count as social distancing?
