Okay well who cares? Again money > working out.  You think he made a mistake taking the contract and leaving?

Well you asked the question did you not about the lions signing him later. So i answered. So again you cared for that answer cause you asked the question initially.

I’m guessing his contact is likely not guaranteed and he’s likely to be cut unless there’s a major injury or injury concern with hargreaves which is how this convo between me and lean started. So the contract isn’t all that great to begin with. I would’ve done the workout and not potentially piss them off (don’t burn bridges) in case things didn’t workout with philly Then signed the deal. I don’t think the eagles would’ve said no don’t do that workout otherwise pulling the contract.

He tagged beat writers too. The workout was also 3 days ago.

This is what I want to see out of Edwards. If he can cover at all, we might have something.

Jones is always hurt so that’s not him being bubbled

Kind of how i view it. Why would you signed here to potentially be behind cox, hargreaves, jackson, ridgeway and be the 5th DT struggling to make the roster whereas in Detroit might higher chance of winning a roster spot. Go look at the lions DTs much higher chance of sticking on that roster.

The problem with signing with the Lions, is it would mean you’re a member of the Lions.

I think the suggested Schwartz perspective is Jones is bubble wrapping himself.  I think Dillard is being bubble wrapped by the trainers.

But Matt Patricia includes a no. 2 pencil at time of signing.

Actually think jones is going to be cut or traded for like a late round pick with stipulations. The eagles don’t have great depth at corner and yet i see them likely growing tired of him always being hampered by injury

And if you get injured during the work out?

As long as Patricia places it behind my ear for me. The positioning needs to be just right.

Be careful, there's no way that slob doesn't have some kind of virus

I always love he could get injured in a workout. Cause you can use that in any scenario. He could also get into a car accident On the way to the airport and get hurt. He could tear a muscle lifting weights prior to signing. Not living my life in fear Of i could get injured. That could happen the first day of eagles practice and the rip up the contract and he gets diddly. I much rather have a that bridge with the lions (Knowing I’m highly likely not making the eagles team) then burn it knowing that Patricia is an dope That holds a grudge.

Provides classes on that every Tuesday before team meetings. Also provides a pencil sharpener

Doug tired of seeing these sissy bishes getting hurt.

This will be Matt Patricia's final season as an NFL head coach -- he and the GM have already been put on notice by the owner that they need to contend this season, so I wouldn't worry too much about him holding any kind of grudge.

I always love people that think that a guy shouldn't stop a "work out" for a team so he can actually sign a contract for another one, we aren't talking about getting hurt living life we're talking about an unnecessary work out. He did the right thing and I would bet you dollars to donuts if Patricia needs him later in the season and he's available he will be called.

It’s a BS reasoning. The odds of that happening in an unpadded, shirt and shorts drill session is so miniscule. It’s a lame excuse for bailing on it. It’s legitimately a last resort excuse to legitimize him bolting from a workout. He left for a non-guaranteed contract. that’s highly likely terminated in 3 weeks. So it’s an unnecessary workout to get a potential job with a Team down the road when you likely are cut by the eagles in 3 weeks and that contract is terminated anyway? What if he did that workout and was impressive Enough the lions offered him a guaranteed contract? Would it have been unnecessary then? If we are going with hypotheticals that’s could have happened

Id willing to bet you he uses him as a last resort before getting to him. And even then i think patricia’s ego would hold him back.

Is this sarcasm? Cause maddox is on the outside and is short. And nrc is a midget at slot corner. It wasn’t as if darby was grossly tall either. He was 5’11.

Schwartz is obsessed with slot corners who are undersized and third safety types...

LOL
