Mostly broncos and niners. Niners because of steve young as he is a mormon and byu guy. Brincos cuz of vicinity. Cowboys because lots of fair weather fans in utah. Im not sure about the raiders now???

I live in kansas now, right in chiefs country.

Sometimes i think it would have been really cool growing up in a football town like philly and being born into an eagles family. My dad hates football and sports so i was on my own. I kind of lucked into the eagles.

Im always confused when people from born and raised in philly are fans ofcother football teams im like what happened???

I dont want to imply that non born eagles fans are better or worse fans than those who werent born in philly i take it personally when posters imply im not as much a fan because i wasnt born or raised or lived in philly.

I remember when the boards first started it seemed to be a frequent  argument which was replaced by superiority of fandom according to post count😒

I appreciate the eagles community that adopted a clueless kid from utah even if some of those did so reluctantly 😉

thats cuz the spurs suck😉 you and all your fancy trophies lame...😊

I was thinking 49ers could be another one.  Broncos do seem to be closest geographically.  Ugh, Cowgirl fans in Utah?

I'm sure the majority of us here were 'born into it', though I don't think that gives me special privileges nor do I think that some who became a fan 'by choice' is any less of a fan.  So long as once you made the choice that you're hitching your wagon to the team that you commit to it and stay with it.  It also helps to learn however much you can about the history and culture behind the team.  Like how we suffered for so long before finally winning a SB.  Philly and it's surrounding area (Delaware Valley area), we're an unusual breed and we embrace that.

I don't wanna be the "police the blog" guy but maybe bringing someone else's religion into the conversation isn't the greatest idea.  Just a thought.

I had all my questions ready for the blog about what cheese steak place to go to and best places to visit and was getting in shape to do my rocky run up the stairs i was super excited and then boom. Covid😠 conference got cancelled.😞

So maybe one if these days ill get there, im going to guess there arent any dallas fans there😉

Best cheesesteak is John’s Roast Pork and everyone else is wrong.

Yeah seeing how they always came up short when David Robinson was their star player, I never thought they'd win a championship let alone 5 of them.

I hope you get to experience that with the Jazz someday if they can ever win a title.

The kid from utah???😠 you mean the guy that won the dunk competition, is an all star has been in playoffs and actually got out of 1st round and was just the 4th player in nba history to have 2 50 point games in the playoffs that guy from Utah???

Having said that he could win 6 championships in a row and still wouldnt be the face because he plays in utah😒

That and Utah can’t win 1 championship.

Listened to the BGN pod this afternoon and thought this was an interesting nugget. Carson threw a pass to Reagor today that would have led him into a big hit if the DB was playing a regular game with live tackling. Shwartz barked at Wentz and yelled "Don’t get the good player hurt!” Seems like Reagor is impressing everyone.

Seeing updates from training camp with several former Eagles in advisor/coach roles. I don’t know/think that’s a common thing in NFL, but that’s got to be a great look for Eagles from a newcomers perspective.

They're like roaches, they're everywhere. Someone should invent a spray that repels them. Or maybe like a Cowboy hotel where they check in but don't check out.

Honestly not sure how to.

On a PC, just right click and copy and paste like you would text. On an iPhone, hold your finger on the pic for a second, an option to copy will pop up, then paste it in the reply box like you would text. I would assume, but can’t say for sure other phones work similar.

I don't know if they're overconfident.  I think Peters probably determines what reps he wants to do at practice.  I think the team probably trusts him on that part of his game.  I also think they want Pryor to have plenty of first team reps.  Wanting Pryor to have plenty of reps, tells me that they're not super confident that Peters will be starting all 16 games.

And rightfully so

Why dont you go cry about your sucky sixers in the designated forum.

The board realized the majority of eagles fans are probably from philly are probably 76er fans they also realized plenty of eagles fans arent from philly and dont follow philly sports other than the eagles, as such they provided a forum where posters could talk about other philly team sports.

That forum is not this forum. If i wanted to whine about politics id go to CVON if i wanted to whine about the eagles id go to RnR if i wanted to whine about you id go to the mods i guess or i could just handle it here and say dude whats with all the 76er talk at which point the blog would explain to me that its really not a forum for eagles fans but a place for fans from philly to engage in a big philly circle jerk, at which point someone would post a shirtless selfie Shocker would say foshizzle someone would call someone a snowflake id call the blog redundant and youd whine about my whining and around and around we go.

Wouldnt it just be easier if posters talked about other philly sports in the designated forum?

Just scroll past the 76ers talk bro. That's what I do

A good distraction though....

You're the first person I've ever heard say they are a Utah Jazz fan.  Dont think I've ever come across one.

I get the same thing.  I'm a Spurs fan and there ain't many of us outside San Antonio.

Beast is also a Jazz fan. Or Original Sin which he goes by now

Ditto.

You know who was one of the most overrated players of all time?  Karl Malone.

Not sure if this article was shared on here but some good tidbits from yesterdays practice.

https://www.phillyvoice.com/eagles-practice-notes-day-7-duke-riley-starting-linebacker/

-Marcus Green's name keeps popping up.  From what I've read he's more a quick twitch/speed guy.  The Eagles have added some serious speed this year on both sides of the ball.

Reagor/Hightower/Watkins/Killens on offense.  Taylor/Toohill on defense.  Green was here last year.  I don't see him making the initial squad but if DJack gets hurt I can see him being a PS call up.

-I'm really excited to see Jalen Mills in a game at safety.  If he shows that's where he belongs that's great but also have to question why the move wasn't made 1-2 years ago.

-Ostman and Toohill are better players right now than Miller and Avery.  It's nice to see them getting props when deserved.  I hope the Eagles use the mindset mentioned and ignore cost to acquire and keep the best man for the job.

-Sidney Jones, time to go.  I don't even want to go back to the 2017 draft and see who they left on the board.

Many of us thought the same thing 1 - 2 years ago but when you have Jenkins and McCloud there he wouldn't have seen the field.

Practice at 1030 again today. Haven't heard much about Will Parks or K'Von Wallace in these reports recently. I wonder if they're firmly backups to Mills/McLeod or if they have a different role in this "positionless" defense.

seems like Will Parks name comes up quite often with how many different places he is playing.  Maybe he can be Honey Badger Light for us.

Guess I've just missed those tweets/reports then. It's going to be very interesting to see how this secondary shakes out come game day.

Apparently he is splitting time with NRC with the first team when we are in nickel. So the team can pick between a 3 corner, two safety lineup or a 3 safety, two corner one.
