My personal opinion is there are less than 10 current NFL QBs who I’d give a long term contract to, at the current market rate.  My definition of a franchise QB is either a player who makes the team better by himself, or his departure would make the team significantly worse and be difficult to replace:

Yes — Mahomes, Wilson, Jackson, Rodgers, Wentz, Watson, Ryan

Worthy, but Too Old/Shot — Brady, Brees, Rivers, Roethliesberger

No — Allen, Stidham, Darnold, Tua, Burrow, Mayfield, Minshew, Lock, Carr, Taylor, Prescott, Jones, Haskins, Trubisky, Stafford, Cousins, Bridgewater, Murray, Goff

On The Fence — Tannehill, Garoppolo — Jimmy G has something but I’m still not sold; Tannehill has talent but was wasted in MIA; he might turn into something in TEN

I still think Rodgers has 4 good years left, so I’d sign him if he was available today.  Guys like Murray, Darnold, Burrow and Allen could still get into the Yes category with more experience.  Mayfield has the talent, but he’s just not a leader at all IMO

More clarification.

Not sure I'd put Matt Ryan in there.

does 100-300 yards count as social distancing?

I checked with the deer, they seem to be represented by the same folks as the NFLPA, and they insist on half mile separation.

What are you shooting that you think you can stone a deee at 300 yds. Busting out the old cheytac from Afghanistan?

I think Stafford would be in the Yes category for me. Guy is under appreciated IMO.

Guys like Murray it's too early to tell but could easily see him being a yes in the near future. We shall see.

Simmons is a legit bomber👽His shot looked better, elbow not flaring out as much and he didn't hesitate either time.  And he is now at his natural position, with the starting 5 at least.  Phils, well, Klentak sucks, but this line up should hit, though Rys doesn't deserve to be in the 2 hole, he needs to be 7-9 or on the bench.   And Realmuto at 4 is a bummer.  He us a 5 all day.  Not a cleanup hitter.  I think Rys will hit (not hit) his way down the lineup, but Realmuto will remain at cleanup as the only other choice is Bryce and he needs to be #3.

I hope he can figure it out.  He's been 1 of the biggest disappointments in recent memory after such a promising rookie debut, and it completely wrecks this lineup.  Why can't we have nice things damnit?!!

He does...  until they can no longer voice their disapproval.

Yeah, but that's the union line.  The rank and file are working out together in fields and meadows around the country in close proximity.  That other stuff is just a negotiation tactic.

He's short, doesn't have a great arm, he's not fast, and he benefited from a Lincoln Riley run offense.  Where do you see talent from Baker Mayfield?

Other than that, I like the QB lists.  Spot on IMO.

I have the exact same reservations about Tua as you do about Mayfield.  I saw Mayfield sling it 60+ yards downfield a few times in his Oklahoma film, and I think he moves well enough in the pocket — but you certainly make some valid points as to his shortcomings.

Very good chance this will be his last year in CLE as the starter if he doesn’t put it together on the field, and get it together attitude-wise.

What’s considered a long term contract anything 4 years or longer? If it’s 5 years or more I’m not giving Matt Ryan at 35 a long term deal. He falls into the worthy but too old (still good not shot but i wouldnt be giving him more than a 3 year deal or 4 with an opt out minimal dead money after year 3).

Seems like PUP players count against the eighty man roster. Split roster approaches don’t allow escalation to higher squad. Seems forced to make teams go to eighty man rosters. I think there are easily seven players the Eagles can drop that aren’t going to make the team or PS.  I projected mine several days ago. Anyone want to take a shot?

7MM Remington Mag. The scope is set dead on at 300 yds.

I reload my own ammo with 145 grain boattails and 60 grains of IMR 4350 powder

We actually discussed this on the phillies thread last night. Hoskins since August of 2018 has been not very good. He’s hitting .223 (172-770) 42 HRs and 112 RBIs. Which means per month over 8 months of baseball thats 5.3 homers and 14 RBIs on average per month. To put it in perspective maikel Franco has 282 less at bats over that same time but if you project out what Franco’s numbers would’ve been with 770 at bats they are .242 avg, 35 homers and 112 RBIs. If we know Franco is an average player then hoskins over that same span has been pretty average and I’d say actually been getting progressively worse as time has gone on.

Yeah,  it's too bad.  But pitchers figured him out and he hasn't been able to adjust

I hear the kick is less than a 30-06.  I wouldn’t trust myself with a 300 yard shot but then again, I don’t hunt anymore.

The kick isn't terrible and it's super flat shooting. At 100 yards i'm only 1 1/2 " high.

It will bruise m shoulder if i shoot more than 20 rnds at the range though
