Huge jazz fan , but never a fan of malone's dirty play though.

They keep playing ike they are now and they will be a tough out , 3 legit players in

Rudy

Donovan

Conely

And Clarkson off the bench

Wish bogdanovic was playing, huge loss for jazz.

And maybe one of the top 5 coaches in the game in Snyder.

Yup bogdanovic was a big loss clarkson has been a big addition, not sure mitchell can keep up his pace other guys like jinglin joe and oneal need to step up

Maybe it’s just because I’m left-handed, but it seems like the discussion has taken a left turn today.

It kind of came out of left field...

Strong side of the offense is where the tight end lines up.  Strongside (SAM) linebacker lines up on that side.  Weakside (WILL) lines up on the other side.

Any other questions?

Bit simplistic an explanation.  That almost presumes a in line TE and a split end or X receiver.  The rules require seven men on the line of scrimmage.  In the ancient times, the tight end aligned against the tackle and usually the right tackle while the split end or flanker was out wide.  The former was the strong side. Nowadays, it tends to mean the side of the line that has the most people.

Traditionally the TE would line up on the Right side. Yet in todays game with multiple wr sets the right side is still considered the string side.

Lets say a 4 WR set with 2 WRs to each side. One in each slot to either side and on on the out side to each side with a RB directly behind the qb. Its an evenly designed formation so which is the strong side and which the weak? Traditionally the right side in a balanced formation is considered strong side why? I assume because traditionally qbs were are right handed.

Honestly in this formation unless 1 receiver was closer to the line than the other I would say neither side is the strong side.

1st why is this study about whites? 2nd I wonder why certain states have differing percentages?

I have no idea what the hell everyone has been talking about the last few pages but all I can think about now is this

The Leftorium - Ned Flanders' store for southpaws - Album on Imgur

All things being equal ,the right side is your strong side , because RTs are typically better run blockers

And the whole strong side weak side is based on the run game.

I’d call that more than being a jerk as an FYI. That’s being a POS human being. I believe he also said he didn’t want to talk to his kid at first cause he assumed all he wanted was money. Say whatever you want. We aren’t talking about Kobe you made a statement Malone was more of a saint then Jordan and that’s BS. That circumstance proves such. FYI that’s considered statutory rape as he was over 18 and had sex with a minor.

Im not condoning any of malones actions, he cheated on his wife as well.

Its well documented Malone is a D most people in utah hated him when he was there and still do.

Yet when i bring up jordan being a D first reaction isnt to say well yeah jordan is a D it was, what about Malone???

Im sure if malone played in a big market and won 6 championships everything bad he did would be considered a conspiracy as well.

I appreciate what malone did as a basketball player and for the jazz. I appreciate what Kobe did and even what jordan did for b ball and the talent he was.

Im not going to pretend that everything bad said about jordan is a wild conspiracy because he was the greatest of all time. Lots of athletes do lots of  shady crap and its justified or minimized or well documented and sometimes those athletes admit their mistakes or are held accountable by the law or in the public eye.

The extremes at which people from casual fans to league execs justify and minimize anything bad in relation to jordan is un paralleled in my opinion.

Dudes a creep but he gets a pass because hes the GOAT.

We sound very, very, similar. I can shoot with either hand but Dad taught me right handed shoot a bow right handed. (Cheaper right handed bolt action guns) I do like to write with a pen and all my tools are right handed but I can hammer with either. I tend to drive with either as well. I golf and throw a ball left handed (when I golfed). Lifting, my left arm is definitely stronger

Which eye do you favor?  If it is the left, go to a range and shoot a compound left handed bow.  You will be glad you did.  I had a friend who was righted handed but left eyed.  He was an awful shot with a right handed gun because sighting didn’t work right for him. But he could really shoot with a left hand 30.06.  From what you have posted in the past, you seem to do just fine shooting right.

The origin was because of the TE.  That was the discussion.  But thanks.

Ok what about in the event of a 4 WR balanced alignment? Which us the strong side?

Traditionally the right side would be designated the strong side, Why? Because traditionally the qb is right handed

Maybe you should sit this one out😉

Now you’re just making ish up.  Kobe was never a hero in Philly eyes.  He’s been celebrated, post-mortem.  But was never a hero.

Why was kelce wearing his jersey?

I sometimes wonder if being left-handed in my case was more a function of being left-eye-dominant.  I’ve always had monocular vision because the muscles in my right eye were underdeveloped at a very early age — I was wearing eyeglasses by the age of 4.

My vision in my right eye is okay — 20/30, but it makes me wonder if I became left-handed as a direct result

Well, I think you are a bit younger than greend and me.  Kennedy was president and there were still segregated places, washrooms and water fountains in the Deep South where I lived. I am surprised that greend got the same treatment because I always chalked it up to the South. Kennedy was the first Catholic president and that was a big deal. (KKK still burned crosses in Catholic and Jewish families yards).  I think prejudices justified with religious teachings were more on display back then than now.  They have not gone away entirely.  Like greend I have read the Bible and I don’t recall anything about left handedness.

Imagine a teacher hitting a kid with a ruler nowadays.  There was paddling (swats in later grades) throughout my grade school to high school years.  But many parents used a hand, belt, hairbrush or switch in punishment back then too.

When I was in 4th through 6th we had a principal who had a 3' long paddle and he regularly threatened to use it.  As far as I know, he never did but it's not like our parents thought it was a bad thing.  This was in the early 80's.

This would make sense since run game came first in football

Yes, I shoot very well for a non military trained guy. .270 at 400 yards (depending on wind) I can usually hit a pie plate pretty consistently. My right eye is dominant though.

Don’t get me wrong i think Jordan is a jerk. Working at Steve Kerr camp heard some of the stories of that. I think he’s more Jerk then a scumbag. to me what Malone did was more scumbag to me then Jordan. I think Lebron picks and chooses what he cares about and if it affects his bottom line dollar he’s not about it. Hence the whole Darryl Morley situation with free Hong Kong where he and the nba freaked out when he tweeted what morey did

I actually enjoyed Kobe Bryant the person after basketball. He was doing a ton for women’s basketball and the next generation. Was he a dbag early in his career and that rape allegation turned me way away from him and i really never returned to being a fan of his until life after basketball where he was doing a ton of good to the community and aspect of life. He changed over time which i respected. Also respected Vick for being able to change his life after prison. Frankly Jordan and Malone are who they are

The same reason why ESPN has been honoring him all week.  Dude, you admitted to have never been to Philly.  So stop just making ish up.  You can’t be this dense.

What does me not ever being to philly have to do with anything???

Ive never been to boston yet i could tell you in boston they idolize tom brady.

So Kelce was wearing a kobe jersey as homage to ESPN???

Whose being dense now?

I respect that about Kobe as well, he seemed to really hunker down and make some positive changes for himself and his family.

As a basketball player i hate him, hes a laker and jazz killer its in my DNA to dislike him.

As a human im glad he seemed to grow up and be a better human and did a lot of good. I believe in second chances but am always bugged when people arent held accountable or admit their wrongs so that bugs me about kobe and he tried his best to be better anyway, people make mistakes and can change for the better.

You are.  Again and again and again.

Bryce Harper honored him on Sunday night baseball too.  Kobe Bryant was never wildly popular in Philly cause he shunned the local team and went to the hated Lakers.  Everyone knows that.  He went to high school in Philly.  Grew up in Japan.
Never played as a pro in Philly.   The Tom Brady comparison is another left field and horribly inaccurate one.   The more you post.

So two high profile philly athletes pay tribute to kobe and your assertion is that people in philly dont like kobe?

Did philly boo bryce harper for reppin kobe.

I didnt hear or read anything on here or from philly media booing kelce for wearing a kobe jersey.
