Could be. Could also not pay politicians the amount they are receiving as well. Use that money to have better training since politicians care so much about better policing. Yet we somehow don’t hear politicians promoting that idea. 

It’s premature of course, but the early returns on Aaron Moorehead have to be promising. It seems like the rookies are ahead of schedule and JJAW has improved.

Athletes go through a lot in public, and now on social media. They get stopped at the airport, get asked for pictures at restaurants, etc. It's not like all fans are polite either.

I imagine when you are a megastar and the best in your sport of all time it likely even worse than just a a star player. Probably gets really old that every day you have likely 1000 people ask for a picture or autograph And you just want to live your life. Plus they are human like us could have a bad day and then the rest of their lives if they treat one fan poorly due to a bad day it’s remembered for a long time.

The data  (DOJ stats for 2015) suggests that young black males are more prone to violent crime. Followed by young whites and hispanics. Young being defined as 18-25.

You indicated being on higher alert isn't justified. The data suggests otherwise.

Didn't JJAW have a good offseason last year though? Or was that preseason? I could have sworn he looked good in something only to look crap in regular season

All i know is the flyers better not lose this game. Kind of feels like a snowball turning into an avalanche if they go down 0-2 against a team that’s owned them this year.

Oh for sure. I’ve met some that are all about it. Gilbert arenas loved it. He had a blast with fans. His stupidity with his guns aside, he loves interacting with fans. One of the nicer and funnier athletes I’ve ever met.

Have you asked the question why? Others have and there is data to suggest the why and theory as to solve the why.

Maybe we as a society work towards those instead of meeting violence with more violence

It's very exciting. "Average" WR play elevates this offense. 

I wish we had pre-season to watch these kids.

Yup. And its 10,000 times worse now that everyone has a camera phone. Back when I was a server there would always be athletes and their families come in for dinner or whatever. I got to serve some like BDawk, Lito, Cullen Jenkins, Winston Justice, Trotter etc. Even served Drew Rosenhaus in action with one of his Eagles clients (forget who, some fat depth DT around 2008). Some of the bigger ones like Dawkins we would try to put in the corner or away from the general public because people would just stare at him during his whole meal or wave at him. Then he's carrying his kid out as he's leaving in a car seat and people are just shoving their phones in his face. It's a lot to put up with without flipping out.

On another subject keep the people on the gulf coast in your minds.

Hopefully we get some rain out of this but it looks like it's gonna turn east before it reaches us.

Kind of feel In politicians cases if you decreased their salaries then you’d weed out a lot of the ones doing it strictly for the money and likely more who actually want to make changes. But then again probably could lead to more corruption in terms of bribes and such
