That’s Joe’s point. You can’t extend him now because it’s past the deadline. Whomever trades for Yannick will have to franchise him to retain his rights or agree to a contract after he hits FA in 2021.

It’s why I said before I expect the jags to screw up that trade. His best value was before that franchise tag deadline where you could negotiate a new contract with him. At this point can’t negotiate a contract extension so I can’t see a team giving up a first rounder for a guy who could walk at the end of the year. I totally expect the jags to wait until the trade deadline and wind up getting pennies on the dollar because they were dumb enough not to try to trade him early in the off-season

From a guy who always gets wrongly accused of trolling, I can tell you, he was trolling. And sadly some people were actually offended. 

I bet some (at least one) of our thinnest skinned, grudge holding, male Karen, long time blog posters are going to quit over the new Mod method of ruling with a Jell-O fist.

Adams is a great player, but I'd never give up that much for anything other than a QB, OT, or DE/Edge.

I couldn't agree more. He's a great young player who makes Seattle better. Two first round picks plus for a player at a non-premium position is way too much though.

John Schneider has shown he clearly doesn't give a crap about 1st round picks. That considered, this is a good trade for both teams.

Great area.  We hunted above a town called Ridgeway.  Went from when I was 7 (tagged along in the cold and loved it) until I was in my late 20s. Would fly in from CA and meet my friends and see my Dad and Uncle who went to the same spot for 40+ years. 

Do they still have Elk there?

Original Sin doesn't deserve to be banned.  The MOD doesn't deserve to be insulted.  All OS said was he doesn't think Carson deserves his contract and went about defending his position.   I disagree, and I think his defense is full of holes, and frankly, a terrible premise.  Besides, there are plenty of posters in here, myself included, who take jabs at people that are much worse and more personal than saying Carson isn't worth his contract.  Recently I told someone they were vacuous, thin skinned, lacking self awareness, and more, and nobody, except him, to respond in kind, said squat.  And heck, that is mild compared to some other stuff I've read.

Honestly, I would much much rather have MODS who aren't overly restrictive.  Be thankful they give us a lot of leeway and aren't constantly on a power trip.

I dont know if you have a new name on these boards, or are a new poster. It seems like you are a new poster. Beast didnt do anything overly wrong. Didnt attack anyone personally or anything. Its just the same pattern he had been following for years that finally ended up getting him banned on the old boards. It took a long time because it is so minor. But years and years of it added up to finally cost him.

Its always say something negative about the eagles. And immediately make a great claim about the bucs. His defense had holes, and that is by design. He doesnt care about the nuance below the surface. He will cling to the same vague generalizations over and over again. Any time anyone tries to uncover what is below the surface of those claims he will just brush it off as homerism, bias, rationalization and repeat the same general statement as if it discredits everything you just tried explaining. And will again tell you how great the Bucs are and how bright their future is.
 

Its different if he was just wrong about something, or just said something people disagree with. But hes done this sort of thing so many times it became blatantly obvious over time that he didnt just innocently see things differently (like e45 often does). Beast posts the way he does solely to get a rise out of his puppets in here.

Its disappointing to see him start it back up in here.
