No I'm asking you why you"need" 50 cars?  Pretty sure in my post I said I was buying one because I want one. And since I haven't been to jail, been judged insane, or otherwise hurt anyone else I can have one. I like guns, like to shoot them, hunt with them, and collect them. What business is that of yours?

It has nothing to do with "need" just like you don't need a car, you don't need a bycicle, it's a tool and a very usefull one.

The second amendment has nothing to do with hunting. Owning a fire arm doesn't have to have anything to do with hunting.

Maybe, or maybe people just like them, like to shoot them, like to hunt with them, like to collect them. Why should it matter the reason for wanting one as long as you are not killing someone with it and there are far more things in life that you can kill someone with if you really wanted to.

It is important to place that in context of the times.  The militia arms the regulars were aiming to confiscate at the battle of Concord was the community magazine.  That was initially created to deal with the skirmishes in the Indian Wars beginning with King Philip’s War and only ten years earlier with the French and Indian War.  (It wasn’t all the mythology stories  of Thanksgiving and Pocahontas back then.). My wife and I have ancestors that go way back to the beginning of European settlement in what is now the United States. One of her many times great grandfather and one of her many times great grandmothers died in King Philips War.  He was killed by the Indians.  She was killed when the rifle of one of the defenders, gathered downstairs in a house where she was convalescing upstairs, discharged and went through the ceiling and killed her.   An early cautionary tale on guns.

By that same logic I also want a RPG rocket launcher. I haven’t been to jail, been judged insane, or otherwise hurt anyone. Does that make it okay for me to own one?
