Mailata is the type of player who will get better with reps.

He looks almost unrosterable according to reports. He has nowhere to go but up.

Idiots. Fill it 20% and space them out.

Philadelphia is starting limited capacity indoor dining in early September. You can get haircuts in Philly. Movie theaters are slowly re-opening at limited capacity. You can gather together on airplanes. You can gather in the streets by the thousands chanting political messages shoulder to shoulder.

But you can't fill an 80,000 seat outdoor stadium at 20-25% with mandatory masks and social distancing.

Makes sense.

Seat belt laws in many states come with the caveat that a defendant cannot argue the injury a plaintiff suffered would be less if they had worn a seatbelt.  Seatbelt laws are to protect the coffers from the expense of injury.  The Highway Safety Institute drives car safety. The Institute is funded by insurers.  Less injuries is great for people but means less cost for insurers. Same with five mile an hour bumpers reducing property damage claims.  Collision avoidance, lane change warning, Side warning feature, back up cameras, heck even intermittent wipers.  All driven to make cars safer.  Next one we will see expand to all vehicles is headlights that turn when the steering wheel turns.  Notice that insurers care less about motorcycle helmets because those claims typically fall to Medicaid as health cost claims not auto insurers.  Why do you think idiot bikers got helmet laws changed so they can ride with the wind in their hair with freedom until they lay their bike down,  rack their head on a curb and become a Medicaid burden to the rest of us.  Insurers don’t cover most gun shootings.

They may have been instituted to protect insurers and as a by product they also protected drivers as seat belt use decreases vehicular death.

Dont get me started on motorcycle laws.

I used to commute on my bicycle to work, my wife always said if i loved her id wear my helmet, so i did and i was only ever doing maybe 30mph tops, now imagine going 65-120 mph sounds like a poor choice to me.

That's the thing you are constantly full of crap and I don't consider you to be.

Your inability to read a post citing case law and statutory law that would be used In argument over admissibility is telling as to who is unable to articulate a sound and reasoned response.  Using your words, you are full of crap. Feel free to put me on ignore.

WOAH. Not so fast. Not SO Fast.

Before you throw everything in a Tizzy.

Toss Driscoll out there on the Left Side.  Peters got beat a lot last year.

Driscoll's perfect kind of Kid. Overperforms everywhere he goes. If Driscoll can't handle it , you can always go back to Peters.

Would not move Peters just yet, " REPORTS" are full of _____ . Every reporter in the world is going to jump right to " I Guess we play Peters" .

You guess wrong.

Not saying they are the problem but it just shocked me that those were his answers.  I get it, the majority of people know how to differentiate video games from reality but when a kid is playing games for 8-10 hours a day.  Mindless killing, stealing to get points...I dunno.

Maybe his parents shouldn’t be letting him play a game rated for kids older than he is?

Regardless, games are not the issue, no one is trying to reenact GTA.

It's odd. He was good in preseason last year. Not perfect, but solid. Why is he regressing?

Dillard was getting man handled by backup defensive ends in practice.  He is obviously not the answer at left tackle.

I thought Stoutland wanted Dillard?

Stout really didn’t scout or talk with Dillard because he was projected to go considerably higher than when the Eagles picked.  Not sure I can find that interview any longer as it was last year.

Him being a criminal or doing criminal things was never the point. The police’s response wasn’t justifiable, criminal or not.

I'm not a cop but I'll agree to disagree on this one.

What if Blake got in to his car and had a gun, turned it on the police and killed 2 police officers?  What if he wasn't stable and he fired off on the kids in spite of the woman who called the police on him?  What if he killed himself?

The police have seconds to make a decision.  They tasered him.  it didn't work.  He had a knife and was a threat with that.  They had to do something.  I'm glad I wasn't in their shoes but what would the right action have been?  I'll also keep saying it, Blake is still alive even though he is paralyzed from the waist down.

I would argue basically not playing all last year and having surgery probably didn’t help his case. If anything even just practicing for him is a huge thing as he really didn’t played football besides when he got to the Eagles

That’s on the parents. Those games have M ratings. If the kid isn’t mature enough to know the difference between games and reality then they shouldn’t be playing those

Agree with that too.  My nephew is 10 and the only video games that he plays are the wii sports and Madden.

No offseason and a second season derailed by injuries. Time’s running out on one of the rawest players ever to play in the NFL.

They could have just not let him go his vehicle. They just pointed a gun at him, let him walk to his car, and then shot him.

How about trying to apprehend him? They had plenty of time.

Heres an article from police officers perspective. Take it for what its worth.

Regardless of color, if the police are demanding for you do something and you continue to disobey them, especially in this day and age, and then something bad happens to you, you're a complete moron.

We really don't know if he is.  Sure would be nice to have a couple of PS games to see for ourselves.

I agree it's on parenting.  Also not saying that people are trying to reenact GTA but the destruction I'm seeing with all of this looting and rioting makes me think that some folks think it's OK to destroy whatever they like with no consequences.

Really? Damn. If he was supposed to go so high then why is he struggling?

I remember reading this as well that stout had limited contact with dillard.

We need to be offering some of our older parents lessons on the internet in general. There are so many ways to monitor behavior and restrict access to children that they probably have no idea about.

They did though.  They tasered him, the tackled him.  He fought through all of that and then was wielding a knife.  So now the officers had exhausted their tasers and were telling him not to go in the car, all while he had his knife out.  Are you going to dive at a man who has beat a taser, fought your tackles and now has a knife?

They tried plenty of things if you ask me.

it may have been. they should be more selective about what they start protesting about because they look ridiculous right now.
