You really need to get to the Dakotas to understand how white they are.  My dad really hadn’t seen any blacks as a youth growing up on a ranch in South Dakota.  That changed when he headed south for basic training at 17.  Not sure I have ever seen a black person in my folks’ hometown.

I met a black person for the first time when i was 8 years old. He was my scout master. Up until that point i thought black people were only on TV. 

Im glad my son was Born in California and now we live in Kansas, both a bit more ethnically diverse than Utah.

Well, on the bright side, those cap problems on the horizon are overblown.  Wentz is their only draft pick in the last 7 years that has required any meaningful second contract cap investment and the recent updates on Jones/Barnett/Dillard seem to ensure that won't change any time soon.

I mean, yeah. They've lost 40% of their offensive line before week 1. It's an issue and you're going to have guys thrown into spots where they haven't been before. Sink or swim time for a few of these guys, specifically Mailata.

Just saying, stark contrast from years past when we would lose the same amount of guys but at least have Big V, Pryor, Wis etc to step in so it was at least survivable. One more injury and the wheels fall off. Hoping there is some vet that gets cut in 10 days because the FA options are gross

That's one of the strongest arguments for universal service, forces people out of their bubble at 18 and learn to deal with people far different from themselves.

Can’t wait for wasteam, the movie.  Snyder’s allegations against minority owner Schar on planting the Epstein rumors and paying one of the harassment victims.  The release about the movie with cheerleaders partially undressed during the photo shoot made specifically for Snyder.  What a cluster f.

As far as comedies go, Dumb and Dumber is a top 10 all-time — even though it slowed down once they reached Aspen ....

I try to watch a reasonable cross section of different genres; watched a few movies lately that came out years ago but I never watched; one of which was The Dark Knight.  I agree Heath Ledger gave an excellent performance from the context of the role being vastly different than anything he’d done before — but was he fantastic in the Joker character itself?  I’d say no.  To me he came across as a bothersome sociopath, and not particularly frightening.  I hate to take issue with plot, but I didn’t buy for one second that the Batman and Harvey Dent characters wouldn’t have both killed the Joker when given the chance — it actually spoiled the movie for me a bit; it was contrived to keep the character going for a sequel.

Still, the Batman films are by far the best of the comic book genre.  Captain America was the worst movie I’ve seen in quite some time.

There was a report of that resulting in a libel suit in India.  Questionable if true.  But the stuff coming from that team is like standing in line at the grocery store scoffing at the headlines on the tabloids only to find out some of this is real.  Grab your popcorn and check it out. I don’t have much use for PFT but this Snyder/Schar stuff is pure entertainment.
