Definitely. I recommend trying it at least once. Ordered mine from a place in New Orleans.

7 WOs seems a bit much

Maybe after last year they figure they'll have 3 or 4 healthy ones.

Players win

Breaking via NYT: The NBA and its players's union announced a plan to convert league arenas — provided they are under team ownership control — into polling locations for the November election as part of an agreement to resume the playoffs on Saturday

That is how you protest for change.

Other sports need to do the same

Nothing Trump fears more than voter turnout.

Do you think they’ll succeed with voter suppression?

We are already disappointed, as is most of the country.

What voter suppression?

You're just looking  for an excuse.

I really, really, really hope he can somehow be decent in coverage.

Can’t be any worse than why bradham was last year. Hats off to the eagles though if gerry and Edwards play well this year. Meaning they scouted and developed a 5th rounder and UDFA to be starters and contributors.

Kind of silly to have Citizens Park, the Linc and Wells Fargo Center all open as voting sites. I suspect Wells Fargo works for those few people in South Philly that can walk  or drive there reasonably but what we need are churches and schools to open as such, a national holiday on Election Day and the schools closed when used as polls.  Don’t see what Jeff can do about that and he is a little old to work as a poll worker.  (I signed up in the hopes that Senate Bill 10 provision for poll workers on a county basis as opposed to my elector district is law by November. I am a bit at risk at 64 but probably a better candidate for that than Jeff.)  Can I ask what you are doing as it may guide me in what more I can do? I will extend that to any poster. Thanks.

Why weren't arenas being used as poling places prior to this?

Now that they are,  how many people will actually be assigned to vote there?

You can imagine a large capacity,  but usually based on geography so might not really serve as many as you'd think an arena theoretically can.

Curious how it'll work.  Feel like if it was convenient for a lot of people to go there,  they'd already be in use.

We need to have as many polling places open as possible

You're just looking  for an excuse.

You mean like all mail in voting is rigged and ripe for corruption (Florida notwithstanding) or after how many years of successfully counting votes, in just the four years between 2016 and 2020 our voting system has become so broken and unreliable we may not know the results of this election for months or even years after the election.

The excuses are pumping like free gas

You do know there's a difference between absentee voting and mail in voting.

Do i have to explain it to you?

what we need is all hands on deck.  I am driving people who can't/don't drive to their voting sites and back home on election night.
