Every state besides NY, TX, IN, TN, SC, LA, and MS allow absentee voting by request  And of course all voters in WA, OR, CA, NV, UT, CO, NJ, DE will receive ballots in the mail.  75% of voters can receive a mail in ballot. As a nation, it appears our election officials have the matter under control.

My father in law has been voting by mail in TX for 15 years.  All my and my wife’s relatives there do early voting.

Can absentee ballots be dropped off at the boxes or only mailed ballots?

Yes.  But PA adopted no excuse vote by mail either last year or earlier this year.

In Mo. absentee ballots can be filled out on the spot when you request it or cast anytime before or on the date of the election.

I haven't lived in Pa for 45 years so i have no idea about their laws.

That's a good system.   Nice easy and simple.  Sorry 4for4 I'm officially done.

So pissed I missed the Dillard stuff.  You guys are like rabbits in here.  I saw a Caplan quote that the Eagles are looking at FAs to bring in as vet depth.

Or are we going in house with Pryor at RG and Peters back to tackle?

Not quite right.  The speaker of the House becomes president.  No guarantee if that appears to be a possible outcome that the House doesn’t select a different speaker.  Nancy is older than Biden and Trump.

Meanwhile the Phils have blown a 3 run lead.  Wheeler pitched 5.2 at 98 pitches then gets pulled for Morgan who comes in and gives up back to back homers to tie the game.  Not watching but why pull Wheeler there?   Oh, and Reagor/Hightower share ROY

I don’t think they really care about the law.

Even if we go that way, which we will, still need a back up tackle unless the Aussie destroyer is the guy.

Ignore 0for4.

Sure. Absentee ballots are requested by the voter.  The county clerk (in my state) verifies the request with the registration rolls and the person is given a ballot. On in many cases the ballot is sent to the address of the voter.

With mail in balloting as it is being proposed  the county clerk would have to mail a ballot to ALL voters on the registration rolls. The problem with this is  many counties have out of date rolls. Since these ballots aren't specifically requested they could be sent to people who have died or moved to another location.

I recently read that Texas has been cleaning up their rolls and have found over 900,000 registrations that were invalid. (people who had died or had moved)

I'm sure you want only legal voters to cast ballots. You don't want your vote nullified by someone who isn't allowed to cast a vote do you?

You do realize that mailing back someone else’s ballot is not just election fraud but also mail fraud.  No idiot is going to the Fed pen for a second vote. We have five states that have been mailing ballots out for years with no real fraud.  Red herring. I call BS.

It’s a joke. I just saw the opportunity to call him 0for4. I took it. Lol

For me in Canada, advance polling is the best thing since sliced bread.  I’ve always been able to walk in, vote, and walk out within 5-10 minutes.

I’ll never be one of the sheep that stand in line at a polling place on Election Day again

Nah, we don’t want to hijack and I am guilty of that.  It probably comes from growing up in the Jim Crow south and as a result I am passionate about people being able to, wanting to and getting to vote.  Hot button for me. I will try to stop.

I dream it becomes a reality. He's just so big and I want him to be great.

I don't think 22 has any value, but I wonder if there is a young backup OL in the league Howie could swing a trade foor somebody from our excess positions like CB.

Caplan is speculating just like anyone on the Blog.  I am sure Howie and Doug are weighing all options.  Practice tomorrow may give some hint as will whatever day they do workouts.

Seems like the logical route unless one of the Auburn rooks plays well enough to start.

I honestly would just go with what we have and sign some FA. It would suck to deal anything of value when we don’t know if the season is going to be played.

I think 32 makes better sense as he may have more trade value and doesn’t fit here but I doubt you get someone better than who we have here already.

That's a good point.
