Well, my Madden 21 install is at like 82%, so I'll be able to check the player ratings and find a hidden gem OL candidate among the 32 rosters for Howie.

Not quite right.  The speaker of the House becomes president.  No guarantee if that appears to be a possible outcome that the House doesn’t select a different speaker.  Nancy is older than Biden and Trump.

House will never select different speaker ,and no chance Democrats lose the house

Make sure we get good value

McCutcheon did smoke one straight away.  Hammered it.

Does Bohm suck as a 3rd baseman?  Good to see both McCutcheon and Hoskins swinging better bats.  We were giving Hoskins the business a couple weeks ago, though .217 isn't  a hot burger on a cold day.

So pissed I missed the Dillard stuff.  You guys are like rabbits in here.  I saw a Caplan quote that the Eagles are looking at FAs to bring in as vet depth.

Or are we going in house with Pryor at RG and Peters back to tackle?

Peters is absolutely going back to LT. It wouldn’t make sense not to. I think they need some kind of vet depth but every available vet stinks. Howie needs to scour the transactions on cutdown day

Man 2020 blows

Wow, Chadwick Boseman passed from colon cancer. Didn’t even know he was sick. That sucks

On Jackie Robinson day too. That’s bizarre timing.

That is heartbreaking...  He was 42

I mean, 42 and in addition to all those films he made while sick, he would have done a ton more work in Marvel films alone.  I'm 100% sure he would have been involved in any number of the many planned films in the coming years, and they were absolutely doing more Black Panther stand alone films.

Such a tragedy.  So many loved him.  F cancer.  Gdammit.

Nancy as speaker is different from Nancy as president. Doesn’t the Senate then select the VP, IIRC.  Think either party would risk old Nancy or old Mitch in either role?  Both are older than Biden and Trump.

Edit:   Sorry all the reports said 43.  He was 42.

That's extremely young (2016, so he was 38) for colon cancer isn't it?

No ,if the electoral college does not select a president by jan 20..

Speaker of the house becomes president until one is selected.

He was born November 29, 1976. That makes him 43.

Maybe you are misreading because he was in a movie named 42?

Per the Constitution, the sitting president must vacate office when the term ends at noon on Jan. 20 of the given year.

It’s true that the speaker of the house is next in the line of succession after the president and vice president

I was looking at OL trade options and one that might be interesting is Will Richardson Jr from the Jaguars. He’s sitting behind Robinson and Taylor and they have some more young tackle depth.

Richardson wasn’t very good last year, but in his final year of college he was probably the best pass blocker in the country - allowed fewer than 10 QB pressures with over 400 pass blocking snaps. As depth and maybe with some upside, this intrigued me. He also played some guard too, so he has versatility.

No I know about the movie 42.

If you google him, under where it says About it says he was born in 1977.  That's why I wasnt sure.  Either way it sucks.  Way too young.

Weird. But yea it doesn’t make a difference really. Either one is way too young in general. He had most of his career in front of him. Sad

Crazy. Had no idea he was 43, he looked a lot younger. That’s depressing.

So, Caplan was saying his WRs for week 1 are:

Jeffery, Jackson, Reagor, JJAW, Hightower, Ward.

Obviously that's assuming Alshon's off the pup, but my question is why Hightower over Quez Watkins?  What does 1 do better than the other?

They’re both late round picks, so it’s difficult to differentiate between them other than how they’ve each performed in training camp — and only the coaches really know which of them has been better.

I liked Hightower better as a pre-draft prospect because to me he looks more fluid as a runner and seemed like a good candidate for KR (although that role is greatly diminished now)

From what I’ve heard, they think Hightower is a really smart football player, and he’s more fluid in his route running (than Quez Watkins).

Not putting Jeffery on the regular season pup just seems like a really bad idea. Considering his past with Wentz, the changes to coaching staff and the fact you have to release a young maybe promising WR seems to outweigh the good of activating an old, slow, coming off injury WR.
