I wonder at what point they'll finally keep Howie out of the draft war room.

Since there's no football related stuff at the moment

Can anyone think of an NBA team that has traded away more talent than the 76ers and got so little in return?

Chamberlain for Darrel Imhoff

Moses for Jeff Ruland

Barkley for Jeff Hornacek.

It's enough to make you sick

Moses came to the Sixers for Caldwell Jones and the first round pick that ended up being Rodney McCrae.  Rockets had two of the top 3 picks in 1983 and came away with Ralph Sampson and Rodney McCrae.  That pairing was so good that the next year we were able to add Hakeem Olajuwon.   Always hindsight. Ruland was an all star center at the time of the trade. Considering what Philly paid for Moses, they got good value in his play. Katz was dumping salary the year he dealt Moses.  They made some incredibly stupid moves that year.  It was all about lessening the payroll (Moses used to play some pick up ball at the Fonde in Houston. The battles between him and Hakeem were classic. That’s where UH found players like Clyde the Glide.  Coach Lewis let his players play street ball like they did at the Fonde.)

The Hornacek trade would have been good value if they resigned him.  Philly got the most they were going to get from Barkley.  Barkley played for my Rockets. Round mound of hot air   Never liked Barkley as a team player.  Hornacek was a team player.

Chamberlain trade was forced by Wilt   He demanded to go to the west coast or he would jump to the ABA, coincidentally to the SD franchise, which became the Houston Rockets   If he had done that, they probably wouldn’t have death spiraled as a franchise and wouldn’t have moved to Houston and I wouldn’t have been able to watch the Dream continue his career from Phi Slamma Jamma to the Rockets in Houston.  That’s about all I can say that was good about that trade.  On paper at the time, it looked like the Sixers did better but those three players never panned out for them.

2017 2nd round pick

Hindsight is always 20/20 isn't it.

I cant see watkins being cut. Reports are he has good chemistry with Wentz has been good in camp and better in red zone in camp.

No reason to keep jeffrey on active list and risk losing watkins.

If not for jeffreys contract dude would have been cut a while ago.

They won't cut Watkins with all the issues at WR in the past and with pretty much the given they cut Jeffery next year and possibly Jackson.

They will keep Jackson, Reagor, Ward, JJaw, Hightower and Watkins with Jeffery on Pup or traded by the deadline to a  in the hunt team desperately needing a rec.

I still have a feeling Alshon won't get playing time in an Eagles Jersey again. If hes not traded he will be kept away till next year when they can cut him. Just my view.

I’m not a fan of Ward staying on the roster over Watkins. It was a great feel good story, but I rather have the young speed guy.

Really?  I've had Moose and Elk but never Caribou.

Hats off to Doug for sticking with his coach speak for the most beyond obvious roster moves. I will be absolutely shocked if Peters even takes a single drill at RG

For gawd's sake, I'm just going to come out and say it.

He's 6'8 348 lbs.

Eh Howie , Stoutland, have some balls for once in your life.

JP was the BEST he's 37. Feet aint there bruh.

Forget all discussion of position, if this kid can play and knows the offense, how is he not on the field?

OK 'receiver' --- can't teach speed. desire to go up and get it.

OL- That's freakin Jonathan Ogden you got there Howie. Wake up.

Eagles are indoors today. So only two reporters are going to be allowed to cover. Great

Yes, a buddy and I went to Newfoundland last year. We both got moose but he sprung for a caribou tag as well and we split all of our meat. Caribou is my favorite. Lots of yummy fat in it.

Berman and McMullen. Both don’t really do a whole lot of live tweeting either

Exactly why they were picked

On the livestream right now it is Peters at RG, Mailata at RT and Pryor at LT.

I'm going to say this for people "willing to listen".

The EAGLES Finally won the SuperBowl on One Play and EVERYBODY in the WORLD knows it.

The play where they decided to STOP PLAYING IT SAFE.

Not really, they are both PFWA chapter leaders, voted in by their fellow writers well before today. They are allowed in because they have been getting Covid tested everyday.

Eh, I figured most wouldn’t know the reason and would actually think that’s why they were picked lol

"I didn’t have a whole lot of experience coming in as a head coach for the first time,” said Pederson. "You get it by doing it. … You learn and gain valuable experience that way. It’s unfortunate for Andre, his injury, but we can bring somebody in here to help, if it’s a veteran player, we’ll look that way, too.”

#LEGENDARY . You go Doug.

If they weren't seeing something in Mailata they wouldn't be swapping him between RT and LT.

Would they?
