It's honestly the most mind blowing thing I've ever seen.  If anyone responds with "injuries happen to every team" I'm gonna lose my mind.  No they don't.  This team is different.  They lose more key starters than every team in the league every year............even during the SB run.

Absolutely

Oh ok then that is good news because this is getting out of hand. dammit this team and injuries is just unreal!

With the unlimited returns being involved it makes sense to IR him for 3 weeks then bring him back if they don’t believe he’d play til week 3-4

Does unlimited returns mean you can bring them back whenever you want though? I'm only asking because this is already a twisted arse season lol

I think he has to sit out at least three weeks based off what lean said. I’m guessing probably can bring him off any time after that.

Doug really needs to analyze how he is running camps. Some of these injuries are going to happen by nature of the game. But, the Reagor injury shouldn't have happened. No point in having blue chip players like Ertz, Sanders, Jackson or Reagor tackle a defender in a meaningless practice.  Wentz will probably throw less than 10 INTs, so it isn't likely that Reagor is going to need a lot of training to make tackles in games.

Then that is a great thing for this season... Dammit man lol.

It's not just this team though.  Think back to losing Jerome Brown. Randall twice (SB team if not for Bryce Paup), Ben Smith career ending, Chris T. Jones career ending, Byron Evans, Leonard Weaver, TO, Donovan. Trotter just to name a few off the top of my head.

Correct. It can also be used for anything. Football injury, non injury, COVID etc.

It’s football. I don’t see an issue with it.

Stop with this nonsense please.  The 1991 Washington Redskins were an historically great Super Bowl winning team, and had Cunningham not gotten injured — the Eagles were still stuck with Cunningham at QB

There hasn't been designations for years.

It's football in the regular season.  The odds are greater than a player like Reagor will get hurt trying to tackle a defender off an INT in a practice than there would be of him needing the practice to tackle a defender in a regular season game...especially when our QB will most likely throw under 10 INTs in a season.  Also, why do QBs wear a red jersey in practices?  Because they don't want them to get hurt. You have to take some precautions with your star, skill players, too.

I know but people use it interchangeably with how many people can be brought back.

Starting in 2012, the NFL and the NFLPA reached an agreement allowing one player placed on injured reserve to be brought back to the active roster.[3] Provided that the player was on the final 53-man preseason roster (a rule exempted for the 2012 season), and that the injury is deemed to keep this player unable to practice or play football for an estimated six weeks, the player may be allowed to practice after Week 6, and be activated to play after Week 8.[4] In 2017, the rule was changed to allow up to two players to return from injured reserve after Week 8.[5] In 2018, the rule was slightly modified due to timing of team bye weeks so players are only eligible to return after their team has played eight games instead of after eight weeks.[6] In 2020, the number of players eligible to return to each team in a season increased to three.[

Says increase to 3 for this year...

I guess it's good that Howie drafted a lot of speed for depth. As usual... someone needs to step up

Also it looks like I'm in the minority that doesn't want Peters at LT

Yes but honestly, I’m a year that could very well end up being cancelled or a huge asterisk due to Covid, if there was ever a year to IR him for a year and roll with the rooks this is it. Here’s what I don’t want-

week 3-  "He’s close”

week 4- "he’s active”

week 6-  devastating shoulder injury

week 9- season suspended/cancelled

each of those is entirely possible with this team and this year

Eh, that defense with Randall would have had a chance against anyone.

Yea, but how many will Suds throw while Wentz is hurt?

Ostman might not even make the team and he was abusing Dillard. That kids gona get Wentz killed
