Chargers have been just about as snake-bitten as the Eagles have been as far as injuries go.

Yeah, I was wondering this too, but I'm pretty sure he can't negotiate a long term deal right now, so I don't see how he'd be able to restructure this year either. Must be something in the CBA that isn't well known that allowed this to happen.

Ostman was a slam dunk nasty nate for last year.  He wins it retrospectively for 2019 if he gets cut.  

Tough to have a nasty nate this year with so little involvement.  I loved the pick, but Watkins is a pretty good nominee if he gets cut after a decent amount of early camp hype.

Yea I was hoping for more info on it since I haven’t heard of this before. He absolutely can’t sign a long term extension whether he signed the tag or not. I guess he can agree to take a lesser amount though for this one year. Probably just don’t hear about it because it rarely makes sense for a player to do that 

It will be interesting to see what they do with the LT position in the offseason.  Between this offseason's rumors of Dillard concern, the scattered reports of him looking bad in camp, and now missing the whole season, I doubt they entrust the 2021 LT position to him.  This is a position that they won't leave up to an open competition for next year.  And Dillard is a player that is pretty much LT only.  He's got a tough road ahead to ever justify his first round selection.

 

Also just saw Ngakoue was willing to take a pay cut from one other unspecified team if they were willing to meet the Jaguars trade demands. With his social media campaign can’t help but wonder if it was the Eagles

Still needs to be smarter. It’s a scrimmage, he wasn’t in position, and it was unnecessary. It’ll come with time.

One thing I do know is that getting into a twitter war with the owner of the team probably isn't a good bargaining chip.  Although it looks like he doesn't care at all.  Ramsey also chiming in.  I try not to feel bad for professional athletes, but this organization does not do it right.  

Eagles almost have to go into next season with Dillard starting LT.
