No waivers

I was hoping it was just a little tear in the labrum that would likely be asymptomatic. Instead, it sounds like something he should have surgery for now.

If he plays, he should be in a shoulder brace thats not going to let him have full range of motion lifting his arm for high wentz passes.

The Elites already control both sides.

Its not like the Dems are a bunch of poorly funded grass root activist nor are the GOP.

Its a 2 party system both controlled by elite financial interests.

If there were more than 2 parties we wouldnt have to choose between a tutd or a polished turd😒

From an outside perspective there is such a high degree of polarization between the two main parties, it makes the most practical sense IMO for moderates closer to the center of the political spectrum to create a 3rd major party.  This would require some high profile, publicly respected politicians (if there are any) to get on board at the onset.

All I know is I would have the same reaction right now voting either Democrat or Republican and watching the news — "I voted for the same party as that wacko?”  A third, more moderate choice would force the lunatic fringe back into the fringes, rather than part of the mainstream of either party, as they have been for the past 20 years.

I suspect he’ll struggle through it this season and have offseason surgery.

Memphis RB Gainwell is opting out. He has lost 4 family members to COVID.

He is a bit time player.

Peters really has no leverage here, I don't really understand why he is asking for more money. He knew this was a possibility and no other team wanted him to play LT when he was a FA.

yeah sounds like it.

He should still be pretty good, but there will likely be an occasional drop, or tipped high pass that might result in an INT. We have to remember that he is likely playing with an arm literally tied down when those things happen.

Hes not likely going to be able to go high point passes so well, like we have seen in his highlights.

It’s all a conspiracy to cover up his issues with drops.

There's no money for Reiff.

Not true. They have 23 mil in cap space. If they want to sign him after he’s released they can and structure it so it doesn’t dent that much of their cap

Him and his agent are idiots for not realizing this was a possibility when they structured and did his contract. It was pretty obvious if dillard got hurt or he failed at LT he was likely going to be asked to play LT. he really should fire his agent for not having the foresight to realize that was a distinct possibility.

They need to carry over as much cap space from this year as possible to next year. A Reiff deal here seems very unlikely.

Does anyone know what kind of raise he is asking for?

Maybe his agent did have the foresight but the Eagles didn't want to agree to it.  Now Peters has more leverage.  It's not like the Eagles can cut him. Why not ask for more money?

He wants 4 more years

What's Peters going to do? Hold out and refuse to play LT? Then he looks even worse.

Yep agreed.

Only reason I can see from his POV is if he's settling for a 1 year deal to translate into a multi year deal next year, we're a pretty solid team to rebuild value with given Stoutland's track record. If Big V can get paid what he got paid then anything is possible. Still that seems like a long shot.

Peters is going to do what he was signed to do.

Play Right Guard.

Can Reiff play guard at all?

If he can Id sign him.

Peters at tacle, Reiff at guard.

If peters gets hurt, Reiff can move out.

Next year, Reiff is legit competition for a very shaky Dillard. If Dillard is legit, Reiff can play guard and Seumalo can play C when Kelce retires.

If Reiff can play guard, it gives a ton of flexibility across the entire OL. It would be a huge move for rebuilding our OL as it ages.

They need Carson wentz not to get completely destroyed this year. It’s great to have the roll over cap. It’s also great to have your LT competent so your franchise QB doesn’t get destroyed and injured again. Relying on peters to make it through a season is already ridiculous. Might as well keep peters at RG and have Reilly at LT knowing wentz isn’t going to get destroyed. And you again could structure it so it’s not a super high cap number this year.

I mean don’t sign the contract then cause you knew that was a possibility. He didn’t have too. He could’ve waited it out. Again you still had the leverage at that point as we needed a RG and potentially a backup LT and if dillard did get hurt or stunk they’d have to come back to you and you have more leverage. Again I’m guessing the eagles weren’t About going to screw over peters after all these years of service seems like a good way to hurt yourself with future players and contract talks.
