No it’s not.  Some BS is lighthearted and not divisive.  Other BS is divisive.  Take this BS to the divisive BS department.  Which is CVON.  That’s where all the wack jobs reside.

Whack job crap has been filtering in here for weeks. Didn't mean this thread though. Just the forum in general. I'm not looking to talk about it in here, but when trash ends up in front of you...

Inability to understand knowledge based posts seems to be an issue with you.

Verbose BS not many people care about seems to be one with you.

Well he is a doctor, so he might be a touch smarter then most on here. So yeah he is going to stuggle with some posts that might seem smart to some of you

Die hard is a doctor? Of what?  D7 and E45 actually are. He also thinks he is a better lawyer than NCIggles or Afan, who both actually are.  He is right that I tend to be verbose.  Probably because I come from the letter writing generation and not the Twitter generation.

So who "won" the inter-squad scrimmage. offense or defense?

It wasn't against the starters, but D by a mile. Sweat had someone close to double digits sacks.

You know they are just tweeting the Jeffery tweets to terrorize you.  You also know Howie and Doug will activate him from PUP during the season for the same reason. There is rumor that the Eagles have a play in their playbook that is called the E45.  It is a short yard passing play where the receivers are Jeffery, JJAW and Ward.  The TE was going to be Perkins but with his injury, Ertz will have to do.

Did the phillies do a thing today? And is the deadline passed or not yet?

Id be fine if he is able to play a few weeks while Reagor is out, looks good and increases trade value.

I suspect that is what the reporters would say but they don’t know what the Eagles were focusing on.  If it was speed rushes to see if Pryor can handle, he still can’t.

Now you are just torturing him.

Jimmy Butler going bonkers right now.

I have never said one bad thing about Afan.

I suspect our week 1 WR corps will be

Jackson

Ward

Jeffery

All can be spelled by Hightower, Watkins, and JJAW.

I dont mind the rotation at WR like we saw in Chip Kelly days. Jackson and Jeffery would benefit from it theoretically reducing their exposure to injury. The backups also bring more speed to the field so you would like to see them brought in often.

When Reagor is ready to come back, you have to either cut or trade Ward or Jeffery. Or maybe you can say Jeffery had a setback and IR him for the rest of the season.

Luckily Im not seeing it. The fact that the 6ers were already bounced has made my NBA boycott very easy.

They traded for another reliever recently

I don't know the inside story as to why the Sixers didn't want to keep him, but I know the knock on him is that he runs too hot and goes too hard. Both qualities that I'd say are pretty helpful for playoff basketball, so I've never understood the hate the guy gets.

I cringe a little when I hear he's a star player.  At this point he's going to have missed more games than he's actually played.

He had a nice rookie year but since has been injured.  Is that really a star player?  A good player, yes, but still has alot to prove.

They added a reliever.  It feels like they are always always adding relievers and they still get the same outcome.  Insert 31-33 year old reliever name and he might be a Phillie.

He is tough on his teammates during practice, but off the court seems like a great and likable guy. Some players, especially these days do not respond well to constructive criticism.

He also speaks his mind and we were lucky in a way, that Brett Brown was the right kind of coach to keep that suff in house and downplay it to the media. Many other coaches would have fought back through the media. Brett Brown just kinda said- it was nothing. I appreciate his input and we had a productive conversation. And took the criticism in stride while the media made it in to a huge story how Butler blew up on him and undermined him in a film session.

I thought it was clear that team was having a blast playing with him. His post game PCs as well with Joel were always entertaining and you could see their bond. And Jimmy always had a huge smile like you really felt he was loving the acceptance in philly. And his life story, his make up just was a perfect match for the city.

e-a-g-l-e-s has some inside info that the team never offered him a 5th year. And Butler himself on JJ Redick's podcast said when it was time to re-sign someone asked "Can you control him" or something along those lines. That, according to him was his final straw when he knew he wasnt coming back. He felt majorly disrespected after he felt he was really fitting in there. Theres also strong indications that Ben didnt like him. But Ben reached new heights on defense once Jimmy arrived. And they had those bandanas which was an inside thing between the two of them that you only got for being a good defender. So, it didnt seem all bad between them either. They had that bond at least. Ben has also openly admitted that he needs someone to ride him hard to motivate him. He unfortunately does not find motivation on his own.

In any event, front office screwed that one up bad. We woulda beat this year's boston team with him even without Ben. Im pretty sure of that.

deadline pass yet?

no chance for a legit starter or closer?

This vid just popped up on my youtube recommendations. 2nd play in I remember that I love how it is so hard to complete a deep ball on Slay. Like... he just makes the play it seems like 99% of the time. Its going to be really nice when you see a ball go up on his side of the field and you can actually feel sure its going to be knocked down by him.

But in this vid, you can see he locates the ball to make the play. Im going to be pissed if we ever see him playing it blind. I really hope the new secondary coach isnt going to teach that BS.

How has Desean been in camp?

I'm not sure if the specifics of Sanders' lower body injury were mentioned in here, but Adam Caplan says it's a hamstring injury. Still believed to be good to go for Week 1.

Pretty good apparently.  A smidge anti semitic but other than that apparently just as fast and quick as always. Got the best of Slay a few times (for what little that is worth in 1v1 and 7v7 drills)

First post to actually make me laugh out loud in a while.

In my version of hell on earth, flaming piles of ash spew forth from the heavens, crevasses open up from the ground below, deformed flying beasts are tearing the limbs off people shreaking in pain, and a TV is on in the background: 3rd and long with Jeffery, JJAW, and Ward in a 3 WR set.
