You're the first person other than their mothers to call Chris Carson and Cooper Kupp "pizazz players".

Meant more the positions over individual players but well played

Idk kelce was 72 in 2018. Frankly i thought he played as well to be that high if not better.

I agree but what other Center(s) could be ranked above him?  I'm sure there are 1 or 2.

I mean kelce was first team all pro. Hudson would be the only one i think would be ahead of him.

That's what I thought too.  Brooks to me is one of the best Guards if not the best.  Obviously Zack Martin will be higher cuz hes really good and a Cowboy 👎

Should be. I think Pouncey gets frequently overrated. Mack somewhat too

Hudson has a legit case. I don’t think Ryan Kelly of the Colts is better than kelce yet. Definitely in the same tier. He is Really good though.

I think mack about 3-4 years ago was the best center in the league. I still think he’s good. But I’d take kelce over him at this stage. I also think mccoy of the saints is going to be really good in a couple years.

Also if Josh allen and Kyler Murray make this list over Carson wentz it’s a complete joke if it wasn’t already.

I mean Keenan Allen is right about Chris Goodwin. Allen is better than that guy. His profile pic on Twitter doesn’t make him look like much of an athlete

I had an in depth convo with a friend of mine awhile back about this.  I personally value a dominant DT over a dominant DE.  I might be wrong, but I'm open for debate.

I'm not sure if the Eagles are doing it on purpose, but if they are, I agree with the philosophy.  The only way to stop the greatest QBs has been to destroy the pocket up the middle.  The immobile QBs (Brady, Brees, Rothlispuke, Rivers) are all so good at moving around in the pocket if there isn't any pressure up the middle.  A few quick shuffle steps to avoid the outside pass rush along with their ability to sense the pressure is all they need.  If the middle is blown up, it ruins all of that.  A dominant pass rushing force at DT is so rare too.  There's Aaron Donald on his own planet, then further down is Fletcher Cox, and further down is everyone else.

I may change my mind soon though with all these mobile, athletic QBs like Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, etc.  An athletic edge would seem to be vital against guys like that if they become dominant.

Greg Cosell did a recent discussion on just that philosophy and its one i agree with.

i think hargrave will prove to be a great signing

I’m in the mindset of a dominant DT is more valuable and makes the DE’s look better. Push up the middle and disrupt the pocket will put you in a more favorable position almost all of the time. Yes, there are athletic QBs that can roll out, but I’d still say, with no actual research, it’s better to get the majority of QBs scrambling.

There are exceptions to this, but this is true.

One of my biggest complaints about our DEs is that they're not "athletic". Graham used to be, but he's only a power-rusher now. Barnett isn't winning a foot-race down the sideline. Sweat/Avery are athletic enough, but they're not starters. This puts our Front 7 in a bind against QBs who can move. There's a reason why we routinely struggle against Seattle. It's not like our DEs are great at "contain" either.

The way to stop the mobile QBs is to mush rush with physical DEs who seal the edge, because if they dodge a speed rusher who is pushed wide, they have open field to work.

You keep them in the pocket, then pressure the pocket and make them play QB.

We all know why Wentz gets overlooked or ish on by the media.  And it has nothing to do with his play.

Wentz is a top 5 QB ...... in fumbles.

This always confuses me.  Does this mean he get gets an injury settlement or if he clears waivers then he comes back to IR?  Not worried either way, don't see a team beating down the door for a 5th DE recovering from a torn ACL with this year the way it is.

Yikes.

Really hope this doesn't happen to football.

Sorry, Mike, but I would take Keenan Allen as a WR over you every day of the week all year long. His worse catch percentage 63.6%. Consistently in high sixties.  Your best catch percentage, 62.3%.  Consistently in low to mid fifties. Height and speed you have but not hands.  They do call the position "receiver ".

This is just the reality of what we’re dealing with. Sports should not be played right now.

Without daily testing or a bubble, how do they possibly avoid one?

The wide nine is designed to collapse the pocket and contain the edge. Very good against the run and when strong at DT, gives the QB no where to throw.  DEs have to be disciplined.  Suspect the latter is why we didn’t see more of Hall and Avery. Hargrave is a great mix next to Cox with a mix of Jackson and likely Ridgeway.

So basically every metric that exists to evaluate qb performance shows Wentz being better than Allen?

I dont see any credible argument.
