Also note this past draft was stacked at WR and OT and Howie Drafted 3 WR and 2 OT.

One could argue maybe Howie should have gone OT in the first instead of WR and 5 OT had been taken before eagles pick at 21. One OT in the first after pick 21.

Eagles ended up with Driscoll in the 4th whom early reports suggested they projected him at interior O line then Prince later in the 7th??? After he dropped due to injury. Im assuming that injury is still hampering him as he hasnt been given a shot at LT and pryor turnstiles have😒

This LT angst is worrisome. Tra Thomas was good for so long then Peters came in and was even better thats 20 years of not worrying about LT , eagles fans have been lucky in that sense, then boom we have now.😕

With Dillard and Johnson the presumed bookends for the foreseeable future it didn’t make sense to draft a tackle ahead of Reagor. By the time our second round pick was on the clock, most of the top receivers were gone. Mims was the notable exception.

Now Hurts in round 2... yeah, I got nothing...

MRI must have came back as expected.

I'm assuming he got a second opinion on it also and is not having surgery.

Sigh.

If DJAX had gotten surgery last year when he was hurt he would have been back for the playoffs. I hope we're not seeing a repeat of that mistake.

And week to week we are going to worry every time he goes down this season.

Brilliant.

With how the board fell at 53 i was perfectly fine with taking Ezra Cleveland. He was one of my favorite OL in the draft outside of the top 4 tackles who went top 15. I think he would’ve been a good backup tackle for us with a Lot of athleticism. I believe he could play guard And give you positional versatility. Added bonus was security blanket for dillard and eventually lane’s replacement if dillard panned out

I think there is a little bit of difference here. Jackson was older, wanted to play and not have surgery even though it was recommended, so he went that route which the team allowed.

Reagor on the other hand, I think they would be much more ultra-cautious with as he's a young asset they would be more willing to protect in the long term, if the injury has the potential to hinder his career or is susceptible to a worsening the injury.

Now with this staff, who knows, but that's the optimistic viewpoint of things lol

I believe a labrum repair would have ended his season. It makes sense to play through it and put off the surgery until February.

Someone told me Hurts was injured but I didn't see anything when I googled him. Is he?

No. That's just his last name.

Is he?  I watched the Pryor tape where Big V was playing RT.  I would say Pryor had a better game than Big V but Peters wasn’t knocking it out of the park either. Ranking Philly media on line play assessment, I would give them a D-

In vaitai’s defense he always seemed to play better when he got the reps in practice during the week Then when he didn’t.

Didn't Alshon Jeffery play the entire 2017 season with a shoulder injury as well?  I thought it was a labrum tear ......

When is the amputation scheduled for?

I really hope you're right but we were told DJAX was week to week last year.  I guess as long as he can't hurt himself any worse surgery can wait. But then it could drag into next season of the recovery is really that long.

Probably when he comes back week 3 re-injures it.

That source is the little voice in McLane’s head. Same one that told him Peters was refusing to play LT without more money. Other reporters just reported on what McLane reported.  I am skeptical.

I hope they examined the correct shoulder.

Still don't believe me that JP is NOT Playing LT for the 2020 Philadelphia Eagles?

He's the Right Guard and at 38 with his Feet, it's a great fit.

No, we want you to use the English language correctly. Along with making coherent thoughts more than once a day.
