But i thought he was gonna be a starter on the outside cause he made 3-4 plays at the end of last year 🥴....

Methinks ostman and toohill making the club

Wow...

Good on the Eagles on releasing Jones and Miller. Neither deserved to be on the roster. I know it sucks to cut draft picks, but at same point they're just sunk costs that become anchors.

Also, hitting on Toohill means that cutting Miller doesn't matter. Of course, we never hit on a later round CB to offset Jones & Douglas 😞

I'd say that's a shock but... Its not.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought him back on the practice squad but he just didn’t seem to show up and compete.

I wonder how many new players we'll have by Monday.

Did not like the pick at the time, but it was a good move to stash a first round prospect for a year, and it’s not like any of the next few picks jumps off the page.

Shareef Miller was average at penn state. Never understood how the Eagles drafted him so high.

I'd be surprised if they brought him back on the PS. Seems a waste of time really.

I could see Miller passing on a PS spot here for somewhere else. Apparently he was pissed last year that he wasn’t active on game days.

Not a good sign when a bad player thinks he's good.

This means they liked Ostman over any potential Miller might have had.

Meh, time to cut the dead weight. Good

He should’ve been mad at himself. Used it to be better. Clearly he didn’t as he wasn’t with a Full year to Develop good enough to even make the roster.

Trade him for a 7th. Whatever makes him gone

More shocked they didn’t keep douglas as a backup.

Yea I didn’t think they ship both out. Guessing they end up bringing back Trevor Williams?

Picking Barnett at #14 in what was supposed to be a CB-rich draft sort of pigeon-holed the Eagles into drafting CB at #43.  I'd have drafted Quincy Wilson myself, but he hasn't done much either.  I also liked Cordrea Tankersley, who went 2 picks before Rasul Douglas -- and I'm pretty sure he's on the street now, as is Teez Tabor who a lot of guys in here liked.

It just hasn't turned out to be that CB-rich draft.

An indictment on how bad this team is at drafting. It’s really an art.

Yup.  I hate when you look back at who we should have taken and nothing really stands out.  Means we should have traded back, but its still depressing.

Hey what you think about Tra joining the wip crew?

Even though he was slow I actually like Douglas for his physicality and ball skills. He was a player I’d low key root for a little harder.

Would be my guess after week 1
