I was pissed when they took a badly injured Sidney Jones in the draft, and how skinny and NOT NFL ready body he had. Actually, he is STILL pretty much that guy. I STILL hate when they even look at acquiring a player who had a SERIOUS injury. I know not ALL players with previous bad injuries  are a wash, but too many of them are. Why even bother? Just skip over the injured player and go to the next on your list. Way better odds that way.

Barnett

Sidney Jones

Pumphrey

I never hated a draft so much and also never never got so much hate as that draft night and onward for voicing those opinions.

Still trying to pat yourself on the back over this...

pathetic

Hope R Williams gets to the prac squad

Yeah im not sure a lot of guys that got cut that dont have pro film are going to get signed to other teams rosters.

Without a pre season teams just dont have much to go on for guys like raequon williams and prince.

I expect hell be back on PS.

they were good calls. 3/3 on ones that pretty much no one agreed with. I deserve it. Dont be salty if you were one of the wrong ones.

That’s an interesting and dumb wrinkle

Hmm, so who gets cut for Cordy Glenn?

EDIT: Stupid mistake, Glenn's not a waiver claim.

Correction: Who gets cut for a TE/RB?

Hmm, the Super Bowl champs cut a second round pick from 2 years ago. 🤔

Barnett is still to be determined.

Sidney i didnt hate but i wasnt thrilled with.

Pumphrey i thought was possibly the worst pick since Reid and JJ took bryan Smith in the 3rd😳

That they traded up for pumphrey was even worse.

Drafting guys off college production is stupid. Douglas would have drafted Ty detmer in the first😒

This team is really confusing, like a Joe Biden press conference.

Out of all the cuts I think only Jones, Douglas and Rush have a realistic shot at being claimed.

I hope all this Cordy Glenn and talking up Peters at RG stuff is posturing. If not, it would be organizational malpractice to have anyone other than Peters at left tackle. They are going to get Wentz absolutely killed.

And I know Peters is being a ****, but sometimes in life ya gotta take the L and bite the bullet to do what you gotta do to survive. What the Eagles do at that position could make or break their entire season. Let's hope sanity prevails and they don't let their pride have to win every battle at the expense of their franchise QB.

Yeah, there isn’t a single player I’m worried about losing. Prince must have been really bad in camp.

If I’m the Eagles I offer him a slight pay/incentive bump and if he doesn’t take it, I cut his a**.

Prince is a flawed OL player, so teams will really love him as a player to claim him on waivers - as a 6th rounder, I suspect he'll be unclaimed.  If there had been PS games, maybe a different story.

The interesting thing in Howie’s presser was that he also didn’t deny the Peters story, but tried to spin it as how great he looks at RG while keeping options open.

I might be reading too much into it, but it sure seems like Glenn is a done deal and he’ll be added tomorrow after 4 pm.

Yeah, I think teams are going to be leery of adding other teams’ trash this year.

Prince was an athletic prospect, with injury concerns. A Covid-19 off-season meant that he wouldn't develop as quickly, plus the injury concerns didn't go away. He'll go on our PS and develop.

I don't think JP feels ready to play LT right now for whatever reason (Being out of "LT shape" would be my guess.) and somebody "leaked" this pay dispute issue to cover for him. Dude doesn't wanna go out there and mess up his legacy by getting punked by speed rushers for the first month of the season.

I think it was Kaye who also said with Covid and visits they mostly have the frame of the deal done before the visit. It sure seems like it’s a formality at this point with how the roster looks.

That's being emotional, not rational. That's like stopping going to a doctor who is helping save your life because he doubled his co pay,

Possibly, but I'll still take him over Glenn and Pryor over there any day. Pryor isn't cut out for LT and Glenn stinks these days.
