Yup.  IMO, it is all about their DL vs our OL.  Wentz gets enough protection, and we should roll like week 1 last season.

I also think we won't be as vulnerable in the secondary this year.

I agree with BLG's take there, I'd be fine with Glenn as a backup. But starting week 1 a week after being brought off the street? That's insane to me. Especially against a team where if they have one strength it's their pass rush.

Lol dude posts metric saying a player is a legit NFL starter and then dude says it'd be ideal to sign that player as a backup. I mean, sure, it'd also be ideal to bring Darren Waller in as the third TE.

I think you are likely going to give help regardless of who’s there week one.I’m doubting he’s the starter week one as well. I’m guessing peters or pryor. Frankly i would have brought in Glenn a couple weeks ago rather then tried to hope pryor and mailata could do it at LT. I said when dillard was healthy still i would bring in Glenn as a nice swing tackle cause I didn’t trust mailata or Driscoll with this offseason being what it was. I still bring him in as a backup. Cause peters is gonna leave games and you need to either replace him at tackle or move pryor over to RG

Malik Jefferson LB was cut by the Chargers; he was a projected 2nd round pick that went 3rd round — but he’s been let go by 3 teams now.  Still, with our LB group .....

Quartney Davis WR got cut by the Vikings.  I liked his college tape a lot, but he’s limited to the slot.  Eagles like Greg Ward, and Reagor and Jackson will take snaps there as well, so that won’t happen.

Yes, he is on the roster.  But you just told the league he is healthy enough to leave PUP.  Can't turn around and call him injured enough to go to IR.

I mean ideally you’d prefer Glenn to be a backup to dillard. But dillard is hurt. I believe Glenn can be a competent starter. He’s not spectacular but better then the options you have in mailata or Driscoll or pryor if peters is staying at RG. Even if peters moves to LT he doesn’t finish games and will miss games. I’d still love to have Glenn on this team at that point. Plus he’s played guard and tackle.

Reagor was never on PUP during camp.  He is now on the 53.  He is eligible for "returnable" IR because he is clearly injured.  He will need to miss at least three games if placed on IR.

Dillard and Perkins were placed on IR during camp and were never on the 53.  Their seasons are over.

Yes, ideally you have a starting caliber player as a backup. Of course you would. I find that to be a strange thing to post for a guy (Gowton) who's trying to be a beat writer.

i was for Glenn when dillard was still heathy as a swing tackle and insurance in case dillard wasn’t good. It made sense and he would’ve been up to speed
