Going to need strong 2nd, otherwise we'll see a lot of odd man rushes in the 3rd.

Yup

Just seems like the islanders have scored all series long on good shots and all we get is deflections

Yeah, that's what happens when guys like Giroux and Konectny aren't scoring goals.  The JVR slapper was nice last night

Yeah and Hayes had a couple nice ones a game or two ago

The penguanos were essentially the Hinkey 6ers of hockey for a while there and came out with Crosby, Malkin, and MAF.

do you remember how bad they were before that?

i coached a girl in soccer who was a pens fan and used to give me crap - then I schooled her on her team’s history and it shut her down...a little.  I mean, she was still an obnoxious pens fan after all.

Too young to know the Pens pre-Crosby. All I know are championships.

Just thinking out loud...

We place Parks and Avery on short term IR and then sign Glenn and another player. Perhaps a third TE or we re-sign Togiai.

In three weeks we will activate Parks and cut Epps or Ford. That leaves Avery. Maybe we release him or maybe at that point another player is ready for IR?

So...bandwagon?  Or do you come by it legit?

imagine the luck of getting those 3 first overall picks...

Interesting.  I seem to recall his knee blowing up with some weird injury, all because he tracked a catchable ball in the end zone like a 5 year old.

I'm from Pittsburgh.

Prefer the jagr ,Mario days...personally I think Mario was best ever to play, he edges out Gretzky imo

People in Pittsburgh say that as well. I've only seen highlights. Gretzkly himself says Mario was a better goal scorer.

Avery on IR this week to hopefully bring back Ostman or a 9th OL makes sense.

If this is logical. It could make sense. That is if it is to say that another 4th rounder was not cut

And there goes provy

You probably didn’t need to end this with a question mark

So pumped to watch Slay this season.  I've forgotten what good CB play looks like.

Obviously the rules have changed to benefit the WR, but I remember watching the Eagles secondary in the late 90s and early 2000s and laughing out loud every time the opposing QB attempted to complete a deep ball.  It was never a completion, and Bobby Taylor and Troy Vincent were all over the WR.

The past 6-7 years have felt quite the opposite.  If the QB (no matter how terrible) has more than 2 seconds and throws a deep ball, their target is typically wide open without any DB on my TV screen.

Just heard about Jones. What a waste. I bet he goes somewhere else and look like a star

That's on Howie

If he goes somewhere else and looks like a star, wouldn't the coaching staff be the ones to blame?  😂

Jadeveon Clowney has told #Titans he's coming to Nashville

3-0 now
