Well actually - somebody posted that Vaitai was a bad starter and Justrelax opined that he was a good starter - just not on the level of Peters, Johnson, or Dillard. So my post may have been intentional hyperbole but the concept was pretty much spot on.

His struggles mostly came early in his career and when he needed to substitute mid-game, without the week of practice reps.

This whole thing is ridiculous. If the NFL is serious expand the rosters to 80 and leave them. If not I can't see how teams can handle all the players who are going to have to sit out. That or put teams in one giant bubble or 4-6 around the country. Outside of that it's all bull to think this can be anything but a clown show.

The NHL may be the only league to finish this year if NBA players keep doing dumb stuff.

That’s closer to my line of thinking, although I’d put him at replacement level.
