Vikings were cool before they all became socialists (before then, they engaged in involuntary income redistribution).

Vikings alway had a degree of socialism.  Divied up spoils of raids. Communal fishing and farmer. Made sure the entire community had a roof over their head and food on their plates.

The entire 100?

Nope. It’s why i posted what i did last night with Murray and Allen making it and not wentz. Ridiculous that either of those QBs right now are ahead of him.

It is not correct to refer to the virus as Covid-19. Covid-19 refers to the syndrome caused by the virus.

The virus itself is called SARS-Cov-2. NO ONE refers to it as that. Its the corona virus, or some other slang term such as The Rona, rona, wuhan virus, Chinese virus.

Is Trump calling it the China Virus just to tick of China since he is pissed at how they protected China from the virus but infected the rest of the world and were dishonest? Yes.

However, this is a SARS virus. There is a middle eastern SARS. And even the previous SARS outbreak was often referred to as Chinese SARS because thats what differentiated which SARS you were talking about. And no one found that offensive under the previous administration. Some of you  hypocrites cant just be offended when its convenient to fit your narrative.

I'm sorry but that 80 man vs 90 man rule makes no sense at all.

Some people worship at the church of the perpetually offended.

I try not to pay much attention to them.

What number are they at?

Kung Flu is offensive because it was intended to be offensive.

It's actually kinda cute, except that it comes from someone who's intent wasn't cute.

It's called COVID-19 not out of political correctness but because it's one of a series of Coronaviruses and more are probably coming in the near future. For purposes of labelling, COVID-19 is simplier, even if not exactly correct.

Calling it the China Flu is an obvious attempt to deflect blame, as if the Chinese could have stopped it (they could have handled it better, but COVID-19 is just far more contagious than SARS or MERS) and by the time it was identified and tests developed, the cat was out of the bag. And the variant that is now dominant could be called the "Italian flu."

Baseball and the NFL are both engaged in wishful thinking, that they can have teams flying around the US, going home for stretches, interacting with the rest of the population but avoid infection. The NBA and NHL were far smarter, at least in a bubble, test-trace-isolate is more practical.

Where do they even operate out of that makes this feasible for them? At least if its the Eagles, NovaCare and Linc are close enough, and they don't share the Linc with another team.

That's the option I would take. It just seems more "fair" that way, not cutting ten guys who have been with you for the past three months and have been itching to get their careers started.

I don't think they've even announced anything below 80.  I'm sure Wentz will be in there.

Speculation is he is not. Zangaro said 5 Eagles on the list. 5 were already announced.Slay, Brooks, Kelce, Ertz and Cox. That leaves off Wentz and Johnson. They did 100 - 70

Pretty sure he's wrong on that. That would happen if he was waived/injured not waived with failed physical

I know these lists are crap, but that is absolutely ridiculous if those 2 aren't in the top 100 after last season.

How in the world can they speculate he's not on it if the list has only gone to 70 so far?

Insulting that Brooks, Kelce and Cox are between 70-100 though. Those guys are at the top or near the top at their positions

Because even though it hasn't been announced publicly, Zangaro supposedly saw or knows the whole list.

Edit: from reading articles, the NFL are the ones to announce 5 Eagles made the top list, and they already announced 5. So thats it. Process of elimination.

Oh. Now I get it and now I get the comparison from earlier. Agreed it doesn't make sense. Wentz played with PS guys and still put up great numbers

Reminds me of when a radio station (97.3 FM) in my city decided to play the top 973 rock songs of all time over a long weekend.  Song 968 was How Many More Times, by Led Zeppelin; I said to one of my friends "I doubt there are 967 rock songs better than this”.  Song 967 was Come On Eileen, by Dexys Midnight Runners.  I called into the station and told them I had good news for them — they could stop the count down because they had already lost all credibility.

The moral of the story?  I’ve always been a crackpot.
