I hear your point but the NFL is not out to be fair. You want to win games not matter what. If you sacrifice 10 guys careers for the sake of building a team then you do. I think 2 locker rooms, 2 practices and having things separate is just a recipe for disaster. What if practice team 1 has all sorts of energy, great learning and competition but team 2 is down, sloppy and just not playing well. There is no cohesion. How do you build your best team when you have to build the best from 2 to begin?

How do you build your best team when you have to build the best from 2 to begin? It’s all just conditioning and walk throughs right now anyway. By the time they are allowed to actually practice everyone has to be at 80. So, really, it doesn’t matter either way in my opinion. I don’t think the 10 guys you cut would really get to show anything to keep them around during workouts and walkthroughs so I would just go to 80 for the simplicity of it.

NO ONE refers to it as that. Its the corona virus, or some other slang term such as The Rona, rona, wuhan virus, Chinese virus. Is Trump calling it the China Virus just to tick of China since he is pissed at how they protected China from the virus but infected the rest of the world and were dishonest? Yes. However, this is a SARS virus. There is a middle eastern SARS. And even the previous SARS outbreak was often referred to as Chinese SARS because thats what differentiated which SARS you were talking about. And no one found that offensive under the previous administration. Some of you hypocrites cant just be offended when its convenient to fit your narrative. The Economist had an interesting article last week that some scientists believe SARS-CoV-2 may have originated in Myanmar, Laos or Vietnam. The suggestion is that SARS-CoV, MERS, and SARS-CoV-2 all originated in bats then spread to other mammals and on to humans. It is interesting that SARS-CoV seemed to go away in 2004. Unfortunately, that resulted in most coronavirus research halting. Hopefully what comes out of this, plus SARS plus MERS is continued coronavirus research.

But that doesn’t fit any of the Eagles cuts except Tate. All have had chances to make teams and PSs. Not really starting their careers. I think I said this earlier today, all were future contracts except Hall, who is unlikely to play this year. Started when they cut Ellis when they signed Peters. Also why I speculated Tucker may be in the cuts. I suspect the Eagles are holding off until opt outs declare and possibly trying for some potential savings on bottom of the roster guys like Ford.

Either way, rosters have to be down to eighty by 8/16, when practices start.
July 28, 20205 yr Bit the bullet and went to PE.com to listen to Doug’s PC. Really shouldn’t let Les and Reub ask questions. From Spads: If games are canceled ... The other most important financial agreement reached Friday is that players will only be paid if games are played. If the league is forced to cancel games because of the pandemic, players will not be paid. The expectation is that if the league can get on the field and through Week 1, players will receive credit for accrued season and benefits. Training Camp Schedule • Day 1: Players receive their first COVID-19 test and screening for coronavirus. They will then return home. • Day 2-3: Virtual meetings, with encouraged self-isolation at home. • Day 4: Players will take their second COVID-19 test and return home. • Day 5-6: Players who have two negative tests can enter the facility to take physicals and go through equipment fittings. • Day 7: Players begin eight days of strength and conditioning work. Those sessions will be limited to 60 minutes in the weight room, 60 minutes of aerobic conditioning. Coaches will be allowed to lead an hour-long walk-through on those eight days. That conditioning period will be followed by four days' worth of unpadded practices, where players will wear shells and helmets. On August 17, teams can practice in pads for the first time; they will be allowed 14 padded practices in total. August 8 will be a mandatory day off across the league, after which teams will be required to give players one day off per every seven days of work.

July 28, 20205 yr Gov of MD going to decide if the marlins will be allowed to visit Camden this week. My guess is no. He’s been pretty no nonsense on the virus.
July 28, 20205 yr Gurley averaged 3.8 yards per carry last year. Players are often the dumbest analysts.

Cousins at 58 todd gurley at 51 todd gurley: 857 yards (3.8 yards per carry) 207 receiving yards (6.7 yards per catch) and 14 tds miles sanders: 818 yards (4.6 yards per carry), 509 receiving yards (10.2 yards per catch) and 6 tds. one is 51 breaking down and the other was a rookie not making the list. The 14 tds is a by product of the rams giving him the ball at the goal line a ton so Goff didn’t f it up. This is more absurd on how gurley somehow made it at 51. nfl needs to start random drug testing like the days after these players vote.

Lane did get hurt towards the end of the season. Not sure if that comes into play. But if Josh Allen and Kyler Murray made it then Wentz should be higher than those guys. Ridiculous....

I like watching these top 100 shows but I never put too much stock into them. Most of the time the rankings are a little ridiculous. Usually they only get the top 10 or 20 correct. I was unsure if Wentz would make the list and that's fine. But seeing Murray, Allen and now Tannehill selected ahead of Wentz is mind blowing. Did players forget he played last year or something?

He got 14 tds because the rams gave him the ball inside the five cause they feared Goff would f it up. He had 9 of his 12 rushing touchdowns inside the 5 and 6 were inside the 3. murray, allen and tannehill aren’t better. It’s ridiculous murray and allen were on there before some of the players behind them who were all pros. Tannehill was hot at the end of last year and in the playoffs turned back into a pumpkin.

You’re really tryna justify a blatantly derogatory term with science? Show me one medical source/journal thats referring to the virus as "China Virus” or "Wuhan Virus”. Or one that refers to SARS as "China SARS”. Or better yet even anybody from the previous administration(as you quoted) that referred to it as such. It’s officially referred to as Covid-19(the disease) or Sars-Cov-2(the official scientific name of the virus). If you don’t want to use a scientific name, the common slang for it is "Coronavirus” referencing the type of virus it is. There’s no reason to call it "China Virus” or "Wuhan Virus” because as another poster mentioned, it has yet to be confirmed that it initiated there.

For historical purposes The Spanish flu is believed to also not have actually originated in Spain either. It’s actually believed to have originated in the US on a military base in Kansas. The reason why it got called Spanish flu or Spanish Lady is cause the Spanish newspapers were the first to report it and make it public out of Madrid. During WWI Spain was neutral so the media could report freely (a lot of countries had a media blackout). Since a lot of blacked out media everyone read about the incidents in Spain and in doing so they did believed Spain was ground zero as they were the only ones reporting on it. so the common misconception is that it actually originated in Spain. would not be surprised if this has a similar type of origination story when all is said and done.
