Lol Doug is hilarious. Dude literally just says stuff at PCs that sounds like it makes sense and rolls with it.

If you want comedy, check out the aftermath of Terrell Owens running a 4.4 something, then blathering on for 10 minutes about how fast he is and spouting to the camera for Andy Reid (of all people) to sign him.

The guy needs a self awareness course or something.

Man that '04 Broncos team was fun

Still don't understand how the bubble idea doesn't make sense. More players in the NFL, sure, but not all the teams play each other. These guys can't sacrifice hanging out with family/friends for 4-6 months? Many normal people with 9-5s are making similar sacrifices right now.

You can't expect important people like football players to make that sort of sacrifice. Rules don't apply to them.

Just imagine what this country would look like if a pandemic hits with a 20-30% kill rate.

The size of a bubble for an NFL team is huge.

Haven't heard of the revolution?

Want to hear what it has?

This article describes the measures teams are going to take while the players/staff are in the building. But when they're not? Are they expecting millionaire 25-year-olds to adhere to epidemiologists' instructions to the letter? As impractical as NFL bubbles might seem, a bubbleless NFL in 2020 seems like a damn ticking time bomb.

I agree it seems like a bad idea and a ticking time bomb. On the same hand, with the way football is and how long a season goes I'm not sure you get the players to sign off on being away from their family for 5-6 months, when they only play once a week.

Per team bubble would probably be close to 200, not including family members for the PS and reduced to maybe 150 for the season.  That doesn’t include TV and media.  Multiply that by 32.  Then where can you bubble for stadiums?   Houston with the Texans field, UH, Rice and TSU.  Houston is a hotbed right now.  Dallas with Jerry World, TCU, SMU, the Cotton Bowl?  Staggered games?  Don’t see how it works.

If Spadaro or Eagles brass are on this board, the Browns are outdoing you guys, and we deserve better.

If they go bubbleless the NFL might as well cancel the season. You are going to have big names missing nice sized chunks of time. It will be a mess.

Joey Bosa just signed a massive contract extension. Over $30M per year.

If there is a twitter user who would like to, this should be tweeted @ the eagles official page, and Dave's page.

Pretty sure they don’t care about the Browns or what we want.  They’re job is to win games and develop players.  Not provide streaming content.

Pretty sure Spadaro isn't responsible for either winning games or developing players.

Spadaro's job is to market the team.  Lurie's job is to make money.  Doug/Howie's jobs are to win games and develop players.  Streaming content potentially facilitates some of those goals.
