If you do not think the players are gonna get their own justice you are naive.  This is the worst cheating scandal since the White Sox, and not one of the cheaters was suspended.  Meanwhile, you give a guy who did not hit a batter, was not given a warning and was not ejected 8 games in a 60 game season, equal to almost 22 games in a full season.  Guys don't get suspensions that long in a full season for actually hitting a batter.

Definitely not.  Based on the highest number of players/coaches in professional sports, the sheer number of idiots increases.  It took the NBA about 24 hours before that moron left the bubble to get curbside pickup from a restaurant, then another week for Lou Williams to head to the strip club for some catfish nuggets.  And it looks like the Miami Rocket Scientists in baseball needed to head the another strip club in Atlanta before they traveled to Philly for the opening series.  Another brilliant idea to play the 3rd game on Sunday when they knew they had the virus.  Athletes are always thinking of other people and consequences.  

If it hasn't happened already and based on my highly scientific studies on morons, I'd say 1/2 the NFL will have the virus by approximately Monday of next week.

They have to make sure they scare every last one of us.  Next week it will be Short people no longer as safe as we once thought.  Today I saw a headline... Every minute someone in the United States dies from Covid.  I get it, statistics but what is the benefit of that headline?  Click bait I'm sure but it just deepens the fear in many people.

I'm already there.  I roll my eyes now.  Read an article yesterday bashing the NHL for not doing enough.  The Flyers and Penguins showed togetherness by standing together for the anthem.  Not enough, no one kneeled, no one had a message, no one made it about themselves!  The horror.  But they shredded the NHL for not caring about BLM.  That's where we are now.  If you don't show support for BLM, or disdain towards the police then you're a problem in society.  It's a scary slippery slope we are on.

Honestly, I stopped paying attention to all of it. I know it's out there, I know people are getting sick, and I know people are dying. I wear my mask, I social distance, and I look out for myself and others. I'm not some COVID-denier throwing a temper tantrum about my rights being violated by having to wear mask. But at the same time, constantly following the cases, deaths, and curve is depressing and exhausting. It takes a toll on me mentally so I just decided to stop following all of it. I've chosen the route of ignorance, while also doing my best to protect myself and others obviously knowing it's real and out there.

Covid fatigue is real. I’m glad you’re still continuing to take precautions.

I share the exact same mindset.  Yes, I hate wearing a mask and I think there's a lot more to this that will be uncovered later but I'm with you 100%.  I traveled with my parents to FLA, a few weeks back.  We did everything with caution, parents both tested negative.  I've been to the shore, kept my space and do what is asked.
