Would no 2020 season help them or hurt them?  It would give their players a year off from any physical abuse they would take on the field but they would also be one year older.

You can’t just paint it with a broad brush. COVID-19 is still new and it’s not fully understood yet. So you’re going to get all these studies that come out on it.

I think a short season might hurt them.  They have A LOT of new faces and with limited practice, no preseason and all sorts of adjusting it's going to take them time to gel.  Give them credit for going all in but I just don't see it working out for them.  It will be interesting to see how much of NE success was the team of TB and BB.  How will both fare without one another.

I would guess random/some kind of lottery with odds favoring teams who finished poorly in the standings over the last couple years.

 

Meant to mention earlier that Caplan said he talked to teams that thought Quez Watkins’ tape was better than Hightower’s.

Was this on their podcast today? Gonna have to listen. I think Hightower has a higher ceiling. Reminds me more of Robbie Anderson. I feel like quez watkins is more of somewhat between Dennis northcutt and Cedric Wilson

Probably something similar to the supplemental draft. Break it up into 3 tiers based on last years draft order and then do a lottery in each tier.

Thought this was kind of interesting considering Carson came into the season last year pretty slim and was able to last 16 games until he got cheap-shotted in the playoff game. That body style worked for him, so I'm not really sure why he decided to bulk up again.

I like the 32 teams all in a lottery type system for the first round. Then second round it’s like a FF draft where it snakes around going in reverse order then 3rd round back to same 1st round order. It gets a little complicated with comp picks starting in the third. Just tact then onto the end of the round. But still do snake like draft.

i got it , flip the field like nascar , pick 1 goes to kc and 32 to cinncy and like that thru the draft

I'm not a big fan of lotteries in general, I would really dislike one without any weighting system in place

 

(unless the Eagles get a top 5 pick, then I LOVE IT)
