Good on you, chief. A man who obviously doesn't skip leg day!👍

Name a pro sports league that spent a lot of money and hasn't restarted in some form or fashion?

Anybody can start. The question is, can they continue?

Basketball is in a bubble.  NHL is in a bubble.  MLB isn’t and look what’s happening.  Baseball, by nature social distances on the field.  But this thing is still spreading like wildfire in one clubhouse.  It is a football players job to NOT to social distance.  They are constantly in close proximity of each other.    If the NFL went into a bubble, I would feel differently.  But they didn’t.  So I don’t.

A bubble is totally unfeasible for FB and baseball for that matter and even a bubble isn't going to stop it. So you couldn't come up with an answer could you?

That wasn't the question, he asked if anyone thought there would be FB played this year.

All these camp updates and fluff tweets are great.  But does anyone else feel it's all for not?  Anyone actually think there will be football this year?

Are you the guy from the movie "Powder”?   How long does it take to wash a car?   You get that burned?   My ancestry is Swedish, so I’m a pretty fair complexion.  But I’m outside in the sun almost everyday and I golf three times a week.  I build a nice color.  Chicks dig my legs.  My wife says I have the best looking legs on a man she’s ever seen.   Get out more brah.  F it.  Walk the neighborhood shirtless.

You were the real inspiration for ZZ Top

I’m hopeful that the NFL and it’s players will see what’s happening in baseball and either agree to a daily testing plan throughout the season or they’re behind the scenes devising a bubble plan.

I really think that if these leagues want to show they care about people they could take some of the billions of revenue shared and millions in salaries and they could provide testing for local communities.

Kind of a slap in the face that they can get tested daily.

Come up with an answer about a pro sports team not starting?   "He” didn’t ask anything.  I asked if anyone else thinks this is all for not. You probably think the season being cancelled after one game is a win.  LOL.

Again.  It’s apples to oranges. Name a sports team where players have to sweat and breathe on each other as much as the NFL.  NBA. Yep, In a bubble.  The Eagles have already had numerous players put on Covid-19 IR.  And they are just now getting to camp.  You think because MLB has "survived” one week.  And the bubble sports is starting this week is a good sign for the NFL??  Name a pro sports league that has finished the season during this pandemic.   That’s right.  You can’t.

See how that works?  Ridiculous argument.

Lol ok buddy you win I guess......

Thought this was kind of interesting considering Carson came into the season last year pretty slim and was able to last 16 games until he got cheap-shotted in the playoff game. That body style worked for him, so I'm not really sure why he decided to bulk up again.

As long as he didn't lose any flexibility with the weight gain (especially with the throwing motion), I think it's a positive thing that he put on some muscle.  He needs all the durability he can get this year, and this will only help.

What is it about UDFAs that makes them so exciting/fun to cheer for?  Every year I feel as if I get weirdly invested in guys who in reality have almost no chance of coming much of anything. This year we've got Arnold, Killins, Bailey, Juriga, Togiai, Warren, Williams...

I made a post awhile back about the Eagles' UDFAs since 2013.  The past few years, they have definitely found a couple of diamonds in the rough (Corey Clement specifically despite his last few seasons) and have been good at poaching other teams' practice squad guys (Boston Scott).  Even Josh Adams proved some sort of value for not being drafted.  While Howie sucks at drafting for the most part, he is better than most with UDFAs.

Oh.  Ok.  Glad that Covid-19 understands that.  Because no entity has spent a lot of money with hopes of it working out, only to be disappointed before.

I think you underestimate how little these owners and Goodell care about the health and well-being of the players.  If this were a flesh-eating virus that turns people into zombies, they'd still probably try to get some sort of protocol in place to have football.  Selfishly, I'm happy because I know they would sell their souls to make it work, and we all get football.  Not sure if it will last the whole season though.  I'd put the over/under at 10 games.

Count me as someone ALL IN on using positionless DBs all over the field in the secondary, constantly disguising coverages and confusing the hell out of QBs.  With a consistent pass rush up the middle, this should translate into tons of turnovers.

I agree in theory, but I'll believe it when I see it with this defense. I'm expecting the same old defense.
