I’m just catching up, so I know that I’m late and seeing this… But how do you give somebody $30+ million per year just to call a game when he has no access at all to the teams and can’t say what he really feels about how a game is going?

TBF, he signed the broadcast deal while still playing and before he purchased part of the Raiders. They should ask for a refund.

Howie may be figuring he can get Tuipulotu to the PS.

Then maybe swap them a few weeks down the road.

Booker outplayed Tuipulotu this summer.

This may also mean they'll play more 4-3 under than true 3-4 fronts.

Apparently Ojomo outplayed Tui too so you don't need that extra DT except for development.  Given that Tui's contract is up and Young has a few more years I think they are just taking a shot.  If Young stinks then they'll cut him and probably add a different position eventually

And these fires going on in Brazil? The Phillies are playing in Florida on September 6, so no traffic concerns.  Just move the game to the Link (so it can be an actual home game).

it won’t happen… Just wishful thinking

There has also been a spike in pneumonia, rhinitis, asthma attacks, and conjunctivitis spreading across Brazil.

Jobe joining another team is a sign of success, right @eagle45

Well…another practice squad.

Eagles worked out OL Marcus Mckethan. Former Giant 5th rounder in 2022

Dude is 6 7 and 343. Some Mekhi Becton-like size at the G position.

I’ve always thought this was dumb. The schedules are so complicated, why not make it like the draft. Super Bowl winner gets the hardest schedule.

That's a terrible idea.  The schedule isn't nearly as complicated as you are saying.

2 games against your division.  (6 games)
1 game against each team in one NFC division, which rotates by year (4 games).
1 game against each team in one AFC division, which also rotates by year (4 games).
2 games against the in-conference division teams that finished in the same place in the other divisions, such as 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, etc. (2 games)
and then there's the stupid 17th game, which is a inter-conference matchup. (1 game).

And the strength of schedule for the top teams is always going to be lower than you'd think, because they have great records and can't play themself.  So, they'd have to play weaker teams.  And weak teams don't get the luxury of playing themselves either, so their strength of schedule goes up as a result.

BUT, more importantly, by the end of the year, the SOS is totally different than it starts out anyway.

I don't think anyone has even seen Isaiah Rodgers in the last week. It's an odd situation.

Yeah predicting the SoS before a year starts always cracks me up.  It literally never turns out the way it’s predicted.  I mean, there are usually 6-7 new playoff teams every year. That’s all anybody really needs to know about that.

One of the more overrated players in the NFL. I don’t view him s a true #1.

How will they ever afford Williams and Purdy...

In the Tesla stock price

His spaceships are grounded after the booster missed the barge.  Apparently he has a new BOT issue targeting our elections and has been told by Brazil either monitor the fake news on X or they will shut that and his Starlink system down, at a time when China is launching its own version of Starlink.  Hasn’t been great for Musk recently.  Probably became a cowpads fan when he moved to Texas.

Give Williams a backloaded 2 year extension keeping him top 3 paid and Purdy a new tricycle.

One issue is that Sao Paolo has incredibly wealthy areas and literal gang warzones RIGHT next to each other. Imagine if you could walk from Rittenhouse to Kensington within 5 minutes, but x5 (in both directions). If you have someone with you knows the area you're fine. If not you've gotta be careful.

I would hope that was part of the Eagles' briefing. I would be disappointed if both teams have not made arrangements if their personnel want to walk around the block or something. They've certainly had the time to plan.
