Baby girl went for her first mani-pedi with mommy a few weeks ago.  Daddy doesn't go to nail salons, so doubtful.

I don't think it's rage.  It's bewilderment at the direction society is headed in certain ways.  As I get older I realize I'm veering off the course the rest of the Earth seems to be setting.  That's okay with me -- the world belongs to the young, as Katherine Hepburn said on Broadway in 1970.

Tolerance and humor is key.

He blitzed about 1 in 5 plays last season…towards the bottom of the league in frequency.  
 

What I’m most interested in with Fangio is what he can do with our secondary.  His MO is to disguise coverages and make the QB process a bit more.  Jalen Carter could be the biggest beneficiary if he is given an extra half a second or more per play.

Music is a creative field, and creative people have a much higher instance of "alternative lifestyle choices".  David Bowie and Freddie Mercury were two of the greatest voices of the generation I grew up in, so guys wearing makeup doesn't phase me if they are performers -- musicians, actors, etc.

People can do what they wish as long as it isn't hurting anyone else.

If any bloggers are looking for summer reading, I highly recommend Eric Larson's Demons of Unrest and Annie Jacobsen's Nuclear War.  Larson's book is about the period of time in the US between Lincoln's election and the assault on Fort Sumter.  Jacobsen's book is about a hypothetical nuclear attack. It's well researched and she interviewed a ton of sources involved in the nuclear program and the US government.  

If you are are looking for a new nail color, remember you have to think about your skin tone.  Pale people don't want to go too bright unless you're just an atttention seeking wh()r3 like @hputenis.  Think about a pale yellow or pink.

He pulls heavily from a few sources including Mary Chestnut's diary and Lincoln's journal.  He pushes the narrative of the offended honor of southern men being he main driving force for secession.  Central to that idea is that southern slaveholders believed slavery and white supremacy were a moral good.  The mere belief that slavery should be abolished offended their honor.  It's not new but the voices are different.  I also had forgotten how utterly terrible Buchanan was as a President leading up to the Civil War.  So it's an interesting period to cover.
