Like tk. Think per year salary is on point. Really dislike the 8 year contract.

I'm not too familiar with how NHL salaries/cap work but I'd hope they would have somewhat of an out at like year 5.

That Konecny contract will age so poorly.

He seems to play better when I go back to full on hating him as a QB. That being said it's the best news out of camp yet that the guy can actually look one target off.

I agree. You and @HazletonEagle need to up your Hurts hate game if we want the team to succeed this season.  Really your only take should be that Hurts has turned into Mr. Checkdown because he's scared to throw deep.

It helps to have a check down.

Hurts as the new Captain Checkdown this year?

A check down should help tremendously, though.  He did not have that a lot last year and the result was him running for his life on a lot of plays.

Did not see that coming.  Does he want more $$$ too?  Trent Williams is such a me-first player, it seems like he pulls this stunt once every couple of seasons.

Becton getting that sick is something to watch, either he has a bug (fine) or he reported to camp out of shape (not fine).

Reminds me of when I ran track in high school.  My coach used to say 'if you weren't sick you weren't running hard enough'.   Maybe the kid was just giving full effort?  If he's out of shape that'll come soon enough.

That sick? Hot humid. In full regalia. So he puked. And went right back in.

Hopefully it was Davis wearing him out

7 of the top 10 top active contracts for RW are 8-year deals; it’s pretty standard.  Not arguing a 5-year deal wouldn’t have looked a lot smarter for the team, though.

That's a shame.

Lets also remember this was one of the few dudes who actually held out an entire year.  Yes, different circumstances, but worth noting.

What NFL offense worth a crap doesn't doesn't have a checkdown?

😈

Johnny Wilson dropped a pass in the middle of the field today, same issue that plagued him in college. This dude needs some time after practice with the jugs machine.

Brandon Lee Gowton is back podcasting(after SB Nation shut down his and all team pods), he joined the Go Birds podcast to cover camp and I assume it will be ongoing.

Maybe he can get a hands transplant

How often have you seen a stone hand college WR become a sure handed NFL receiver?

Unless they have really flawed technique, I suspect it's a eye to hand coordination thing that really can't be fixed.

ESP asking these bad press conference questions, after he still hasn't responded to what DSJ said on his podcast, is so bad. The Eagles' media refuses to call him out despite having seemingly the biggest beat in the NFL and clearly not needing him.

Translation, please.

NVM... I caught up.   Its about the piece ESP wrote about the time that DeSean Jackson was cut by Chip Kelly in 2014.   Got it.   Old news.

That was his MO that ESPN mentioned this was a problem for him.  He should have been wearing out jugs machines in the off seasons.

Not stone handed but I think Andre Johnson and Mike Evans struggled with drops in college

The thing I don't get about the whole story is ESP was clearly fed something and told to run with it to help explain/ease over tensions with the fanbase. It wouldn't surprise me if whoever did it knew he was young and kinda dumb and would be gullible enough to fall for it. I think he should have vetted the information better before publishing but I don't think he came up with the story on his own or had some nefarious motive that parts of the fanbase are making it out to be.

Now, he's not as young and still kinda dumb.

Nasty situation.  Easily resolved by cutting ties to Dak Prescott.  They get something like $26 mil in cap relief by trading Dak.  They can use that to sign these guys.  Who wants Dak this late in this offseason, though?
