How can Nike continually just mess things up? This just looks incomplete. Pants green/yellow/green stripe. Sleeves green/yellow/green stripe. Helmet let's ignore the yellow stripe!

Compare that to what a common fan did and what it should look like if you HAVE to have a white helmet.

What would be considered a failed season to everyone?

For me it would be anything less than divisional game

I guess you're not expecting to see Caleb Williams' pedicure.

I know @DEagle7 and I are waiting in anticipation.

He may end up being a player I have no idea, but man Zach Baun looks tiny.

Failed season is not winning at least one playoff game.  Disappointing season (but not necessarily a complete failure) if they don’t reach Championship game.  Just my take.  I think the 2025 season is SB or bust

Had to get him to a facility unlikely to be staffed by Browns fans.

Pittsburgh would seem to be closer but maybe that would have been riskier.

Prior to the draft and free agency I was really down on the team.  Keeping Nick still sticks in my craw.

However, our coordinators have to be better, right?  Same applies to LB.

On paper, RB and Secondary should take a meaningful leap forward.

DLine took a hit.  How much will some of the younger guys be able to step up?

OLine without Kelce and questionable depth will be one to watch.

TE\WR is a push.  No meaningful changes.

So in February, I would have had the line at 9 wins.  Right now I'm thinking the line is 11.5

Spoiler

Should Win: Falcons, Saints, Bucs, Browns, Giants x2, Washington, Panthers
Should be a toss up but I got a good feeling: Rams, Steelers, Jags
Toss up: Dallas, Bengals (Burrow and his recovery is such an unknown right now)
Should be a toss up but I got a bad feeling: Packers, at Washington
Lose: at Dallas, Ravens

Show an improvement in coaching both sides of the ball and get to the NFCCG and I'll be a lot happier next offseason.

Yep. Great players don't drop the damn ball. Name one other "good" QB who ever did that in a SB? Wasn't touched, wasn't making a move, he just dropped it and watched. I don't care what else he did. The defense was playing alright up until that point (at least got them to punt) and the entire momentum of the game changed.

This is missing key information like that the ambulance brought him to the nearest helipad for an aerial evac.

Point to make out here though is that they’re practicing in no man’s land, West Virginia. Any medical issue is a 2-hour ambulance ride to the nearest hospital; so a helicopter here doesn’t necessarily mean defcon 1

Cute stat. Now show me how many literally just dropped the ball without being touched. Just dropped it. Hurts is the only mofo I've ever seen just drop it and then just watch it like he didn't give a F. I didn't say fumble. I said, dropping it while holding it.

NFL.com had the Eagles as the suitor who makes the most sense for Justin Simmons. Maybe he has truly fallen off a cliff, but based on what I saw last year, I still think he'd be better than Blankenship who I think is solid, but not much better than that. And I'd certainly rather have him than Maddox at safety.

I actually forgot he was still out there and figured he signed somewhere.

But yeah, if NOBODY has picked him up by now I'd be hesitant to bring him in even if Blankenship gets hit by a bus and CJGJ gets cut for canceling too many team meetings.

Iosua Opeta   $1.38M 1067 Oren Burks   $1.5M 959
Jack Driscoll   $1.79M 850

TBF, I was being snarky.  Opeta wouldn't have mattered either way given the formula.

BUTTTTTTTT.... looking at the chart does show how in the end, it was smart to trade Reddick.  Even if he didn't have his current contract dispute with the Jets, the "He could have played his contract out and we would still collect a 3rd round comp" falls flat on its face.

Edit:  Was trying to find my POV to quote in the old blog, but the archive forum is basically unsearchable.  But if memory serves me I was ok with the Reddick trade because:
1) You aren't guaranteed comp picks, so this locks it in at a higher value

2) If we approach the offseason to maximize comp picks, this will effectively allow us to collect another one

So in the end, it was a good trade.  If we didn't do it, he would have walked and we would have got nothing.  And his current contract dispute and it makes it even better.

Howie has this figured out, either go no FAs and collect comp picks or go numerous FAs cause you ain't getting comp picks in any case.

I am wondering where in the heck are they practicing if they airlift him to Roanoke, VA of all places?

Apparently the Browns are staying at The Greenbrier in WV for some reason.

Whoa. Good for him.
