I thought it was pretty funny. Jalen looks more like a happy dad than a creep.

Don't know where the idea of "creep" would come from.  It's not like he's making this face

Queen has 58 missed tackles in his 4 seasons with 14 coming just last year. He's the epitome of "the grass is greener." Our LBs had no problem missing tackles last season. Queen missed as many as Cunningham and Morrow combined.

Trotter Jr had a high miss tackle rate...

We could go down the list if every FA LB over the past 3 seasons and the draft and list their warts but to me eagles havent been good enough at ILB.

Maybe when i have more time,I dont know we can look through a more comprehensive list.

ILB not OLB.

White was Benched in TB, we'll see if Vic can get him back on the right track but thats not a given, more a question mark going in.

Theres a reason trotter fell to the 5th, hes small and tested poorly, Most teams dont count on a 5th rounder to come in and start, I cant imagine Trotter will.

And no I wouldnt rather have cooper over mitchell and Dejean, and i still think Howie could have done more at ILB.

I dont have a ton of faith in Dean even when healthy, Burks is a career backup and Vansumaren doesnt have much experience.

We'll see.,🤷‍♂️

He didn't really test.  He was above average in Bench, about same in shuttle, and above average in 3 cone.  All the jumping and 40 times were not tested.  Not saying he would have crushed those just that he didn't really test.

Elliss is still on the Patriots. I don't know if they are counting Penny or not but he's signing with Carolina. Togiai is also still here. You're missing Cunningham and Shaun Bradley.

I thought Bradley was on IR before the season.

He did them, privately. And the results were "don't do these tests in front of nfl scouts."

Sure but he was still technically on the team and is now a free agent. I don't know what metrics they are using to determine it.

On the subject of LBs, what became of Shaq Leonard? He was a helluva LB with the Colts. They cut him, we picked him up in December. I know he had back surgeries. Now he’s disappeared. is he done? What’s up with him?

He looked pretty done here.    Seems he's finished.

How many good to decent ILBs are there?

What is the gap between the average starter and a JAG?

My question as well. Fred Warner, Roquan Smith, Lavonte David, and Bobby Wagner come to mind. The last two are or are about to be 34. Who else you got?

The answer to your second question is no gap.

Agreed.   But the most important part of that last sentence is the tense of the verb.

The answer to your second question is no gap.

The NFL’s constant progression towards more and more of a passing league has led to sort of an extinction (or the beginning of one) of the old school MIKE LBs.  I agree that there only a few notable ones left.

Edge rushers have always been, and always will be a premium position, but now it’s also very important to have a very stout and deep interior d-line

Last year he played about 18 less snaps than Dean and pretty much all of them after they sacked Desai and the defensive scheme really fell apart, he had seven less combined tackles than Dean. I think he'd probably be worth another shot with Fangio in a rotational role, whether he could live with that is another question entirely.
