Schmoopie thinks I gave myself a concussion this morning.  Edibles should help, right?

It’s stunning how people continue to miss the importance of having a legit inside-outside WR to allow Brown and Smith to play in the slot more and to not have a total bum soaking up snaps. And god forbid one of them gets hurt.

"This important" they didn't trade a first rounder for him. They traded the value of a 4th. Even if you want to call it a 3rd, that's moderately pricey but not overly so.

yeah his tweet makes no sense.

Yeah, look at the number of targets they received to have those interceptions thrown compared to Dotson.  He isn't in the same ball park of targets as those other WRs.  Those are also WRs who are likely going up against double coverage and the teams beat CB.  Dotson on the otherhand was not the Commanders top option but every 12 targets to him an interception is being thrown.

Compared to the others listed on there:

Hopkins an interception every 23 targets.

Evans an interception every 25 targets.

Hill an interception every 30 targets.

DeVante Adam's an interception every 28 targets.

We use to always look for that when we would drive back to Denver from PA\NJ

He's covering his own ass so whenever Hurts throws an interception while targeting Dotson, it will always be Dotson's fault.

Fran Duffy is joining the PHLY team with Bo and Zach.

And we may get a comp pick after Dotson walks following the 2025 season, as @paco pointed out.

You know I'm on it.  Every time we have a shot at comp picks I be like

Saw this in a tweet earlier -- every starter on offense other than Mailata is a former 1st or 2nd round pick.

Damn. PHLY must have given him a huge bag. I’m glad he’s sticking around.

I'm interested in seeing what Fran brings under a new umbrella. He was always knowledgeable but easy to dismiss when the Eagles were writing his paycheck. He was like a smarter Dave Spadaro.

He’ll still toe the line because once this company goes under he’ll be able to get his old job back.

700 yds and 7 TDs is firmly within "steal" territory but I doubt he gets close to that. I'm expecting maybe 400-500 yds and 3 or 4 TDs. Which is fine. Not bad, not great, but fine.

I agree

No.  My QBs are f'n terrible.  Rogers, Lawrence and Watson.

Whatever.  I won last year when I started with Rogers and Watson and replaced them with Howell and Fields, I can do it again.  Right?

I can't believe we got Dotson. What a fleece. Essentially trading a 4th for a cost-controlled WR3 who can be a WR on a ton of teams (ie, he was WR2 for Washington last year) for 2 years? That's a steal.

For the life of me, I don't understand why Washington didn't wait until the trade deadline. They likely could have gotten a 3 AND a 5, not a 3 FOR a 5.

Love the trade, though Dotson might just be lost in the long list of WR’s that just didn’t pan out, I think if (this is key) hurts takes a giant step this year he will ball out. I absolutely loved his college tape. He was one of my fav WR’s since Adams (so quite some time).  I will be curious to see his usage though. This IMO gives us 3 legit WR’s who can play outside and slot.

When the Eagles inevitably let Dotson walk in free agency, we're going to get a comp pick back too.

Makes one wonder if he could possible be a problem guy in the locker room.  I haven’t heard anything, just saying it does make one wonder
