I'm shocked a defense during his time would give up that many points. I'm guessing that was post Buddy/White/Seth etc? For some reason I don't remember that game.

Nope.  September, 1989.  Buddy's defenses took a lot of chances, and so they would be susceptible to big plays against them.   And that was the Joe GIbbs Redskins.  They were tough for Buddy.

It was the game right after Cunningham got his big deal.

Gotta go Vick against the Redskins. Might be the best QB performance from an Eagles QB that I've ever watched.

If I have to be objective, then Vick’s game was better of the two. If I want to hold a subjective bias due to it being the only road game I’ve ever attended, then I’m sticking with Donovan in Dallas.

Well when one CB is Eric Allen and the other is @ToastJenkins, the team might struggle against a team with a great oline and WRs.

The only thing I remember from the Dallas game was the Freddie Mitchell scramble. The entire Vick game stands out to me. From the opening snap, he dominated and looked like the best player in the NFL.

That game and the last 8 minutes against the Giants in the Miracle at the Meadowlands Part whatever were prime Vick.

I thought you were old enough to remember the game Randall had against Washington after he signed his mega-deal.

34 for 46, 447 yards, 5 TD, 1 INT, 131.3 rating.

Eagles win 42-37, in other words, he HAD to be that good.  And lead the team to 3 4th quarter TD drives.

It was a Sunday game, so it doesn't qualify for the MNF comparison, but in terms of QB performances... I think Randall's was better.  Might have been his best day as an Eagles' QB.

Old enough to be an Eagles fan because of Randall, but not old enough to have that game as a key memory or much of anything before 91.

It's over.  Bears have a more talented roster.

The best part was, earlier that day the R-words gave McNabb a fake "We're sorry we benched you for Rex Grossman in the final 4 minutes last week just because you are out of shape and don't know the playbook" extension.

Chargers’ was good again, but Dallas had the best schedule release video this year

I think the Lions come back down to earth this year

I think all 4 teams in that division are pretty good. Vikings will be better with Darnold/Mccarthy and 17 games of JJeff than they were with the Passtronaut

Theyll eat each other alive and all end 3-3 in the division. Then the lions have to play SF, DAL, LAR, BUF, TB, HOU, JAX, IND

 Brutal Schedule

Is that supposed to be funny? It's about as good as the Cowboys in the playoffs.

1.  I didn't even get it

2.  It looked staged, whatever it was supposed to be

Yup.  Lame effort, but they thought it was good.

I will say that the Bears GM, Poles, has done a very good job building that roster.  It remains to be seen what Caleb Williams does in the long run. I have my doubts on that front.  The only other team ahead of the Eagles that I would have an issue with would be the Dolphins. The other teams have solid arguments.

I think Eagles are getting hit way too hard by people both locally and nationally for the losses of Kelce and Cox.  They still have the most talented offense in the league with the addition of Barkley.  The defense sucked last year and they traded away Reddick but there is still enough talent there to where the Eagles shouldn't drop to the 8th most talented team in the league.  I mean if we are being honest here the Eagles offense in 2024 is one of the most talented offenses to step on the field, if they all remain healthy to get there, in the history of the league.

What is the point of evaluating rosters without the single most important position on the team?  Just filling empty space I suppose.

Next they should evaluate offenses without considering OL.  🤦‍♂️
