Twitter has finally gotten rid of the Twitter url snd replaced with X.  Have you found a way for this message board to embed x links?

I think I found something and sent it his way.  May require a board upgrade so it may be down for a bit. Before we do it I want to make sure it won't break the skins, etc.

Is this that Arch Manning kid people keep talking about?

We won't be able to embed twitter stuff anymore, because they officially changed the URL over to x.com.

I honestly think she’s hot. I definitely would. Twice

Scottie Scheffler arrested this morning in the way to the PGA Championship…really weird story

Yeah.  Took him to jail, put a jump suit on him, booked him and then sent him back to play.  All because he went over a median to get around the cop car (and ambulance?) after a fatal accident.  Apparently other golfer prior to him did the same too.

Edit: Scratch that, some new details have come out since early this am

Mine still works when copying the link from the mobile app.

Professional golfers really are not good people, as a general rule.  Part of it is the entitled upbringing and environment most of them are accustomed to.

This is why people need to follow directions at the scene of accidents.   This was the final moments for someone... family might be on the scene at the same time... life saving measures might be happening, access for an ambulance to enter or leave may be needed...   so many variables that the casual driver coming up to a scene like that is just completely unaware of.  The tee time isn't as important as any of those things.

I don't know anything about this golfer, the other golfer or this accident.  But, I do know the issues of when someone dies in a traffic accident.  And no one driving past understands any of that, until they have experienced/witnessed it first hand.  Have some respect, folks.

This is on the PGA more than what Scheffler may or may not have done. It sounds like a confusing situation. The accident happened right by the course's entrance and all the golfers have to go through there to enter the premises. There should have been a coordinated effort by PGA officials to let the players know what was going on and what the situation was. Otherwise, players don't want to be late for their tee time and disqualified (which is the rule).

No, but I'll look into it and see if Invision has come up with a way to do it.

1 - Scheffler, not the PGA, was operating the car.

2 - He arrived EARLY to work out, not for his tee time.   It was still DARK outside when all this went down.

3 - He was arrested, booked at the station, mug shotted and back to the course more than an hour before his scheduled tee time.   He wasn't in any kind of time crunch.  And, mitigating circumstances cause delays to PGA tee times all the time, not limited to, but including weather conditions.  I would think a fatal accident at the entrance to the course would be a mitigating circumstance that would allow for grace from the PGA.

4 - Cell phones work both ways.  All of these events happened very quickly, we don't know what the PGA did or didn't communicate, nor do we know the exact timeline of when the accident occurred and when Scheffler arrived.   It was very early, and like I said DARK outside.  They don't play golf pre-dawn.   There was time for Scheffler to follow the directions he was given by the police on the scene and deal with the details of his arrival time after SAFELY navigating himself through traffic.

5 - No matter what excuse one can come up with, there is no excuse for him clipping someone with his car, especially a police officer directing traffic at the scene of an accident.  He wasn't operating his vehicle in a safe manner, and that's 100% the responsibility of the driver... no one else.

No one is responsible for how Scheffler conducted himself beyond Scheffler.

When I woke up and saw the news I thought it was Adam Schefter that got arrested
