No offense, but if your putting premium in a vehicle that only recommends it, your foolish.

I don't think so.

Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

Because electric prices are going up all over PA, but my mustang is powered by clean, renewable energy that I produce myself at a fixed cost?

meh, just consider it an early, or belated anniversary gift.

The guy who had to beg the government to pay off his student loans puts premium gas in his new car. This is exactly the type of person that votes for Donald Trump.

That is NOT clean

Jeebus... how many different types of gas do you people use? Seems a lot harder than just plugging your car into an outlet.

Maybe I can follow in your footsteps so that I too can power my breaks even in 11 years product with my breaks even in 7 years product.

Premium gas isn't any better than regular. I doubt your car has the compression ratio that calls for premium.

Remember: just because it's a performance vehicle in NEPA, doesn't mean it's a performance vehicle everywhere.

Agree to a point. My truck does get better mileage on premium gas than regular but not enough of an improvement to offset the cost difference. I figure better mileage = cleaner, more efficient burn so every once in a while I’ll run a tank of premium through it in case it helps clear and residue build up out of the injectors/combustion chamber.

But I’m ok with the extra expense even if it doesn’t actually improve things because I’ve never had to have loans paid off by the government. 😆

I find that the brand of gas matters for me more than the octane. I seem to get pretty favorable results with Costco.

I think a bigger issue for vehicles with direct injection engines is that the fuel bypasses the valves and never allows the detergents to break down any of the carbon deposits that form on the back of the valves over time as the combustion vapors settle.

Easily the dumbest president in history, elected by the dumbest voter base in history. All during the "Information Age”.

nobody said the information was going to be accurate.

My car gets a performance boost with premium gas. Better HP and acceleration. No idea if gas mileage is at different because I haven't put any regular in to compare. I'm balling now. Thanks to Donald Trump.

I had one for 24 years and it kicked arse. Some arse wipe broke into it, cut thru the steering wheel to get "The Club" off breaking the windshield, hot wired it, and drove away. He ended up locking himself out and we recovered the car. Alas, the repair costs were more than the car was worth and I put it down.

My 2018 CX5 with over 113k miles, 1 minor accident on car fax is selling for like 16k.

These cars have been known for their fun to drive nature for a long time. But are also quietly becoming more luxurious while the prices are staying lower than luxury brands. Are getting up there on the reliability scale with nissans and toyotas which can be driven forever, and are really holding their value as used vehicles.

My 2018 CX5 was my first Mazda. I considered a ton of other cars this time, but preferred to stay in a Mazda and it worked out. Also, my wife's new car as of about 3 months ago is a Mazda as well. Because we liked mine so much. I cant recommend the brand enough. And anyone who has been in my CX5, and especially now the CX9 dont need me to say anything. People love riding in them and begin considering a mazda for their next car as well.

The one downside is my wife's and my car were built in Japan and will not be eligible for Trump's car loan interest tax deduction.

My wife had a Mazda 6. I think it was a 2009 or thereabouts. Everything about it seemed to be cheaply made - especially the interior. We had issues with the security system and key fobs almost from the time we drove it off the lot. We traded it in with less than 100k miles on it and the transmission was on its way out.
