Dairy. You know, after we hit the massive limit to kick in the tariffs. And somehow we still export more milk to Canada than we import from them.

But you know what we can’t put a limit on?  Owning the libs.

Yeah, I know about dairy.  A Trump agreement and US dairy has never reached levels where the tariffs kick in.  Anything else?

Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

As someone who leans towards being economically conservative and free markets, I’m against Tariffs on principle. However, if there is an argument that they work, this is not the way. First, they totally made up the tariff rates they claimed the other night. Second, if they are going to work, they need to be to applied to specific markets, not across the board crap like this. So GFY and STFU.

Honestly can’t think of anything else other than dairy but I’m sure there’s some other ish in there that makes sense.

Which TBH I don’t see how you wouldn’t want to have some protections against your own agricultural industries. Hell, even PA has price controls on milk.

One of the biggest idiotic things with this admin is that they’re not counting exports of services, which we are king ish at, and the fact that we export so much Ag products so any retaliation is going to F over our own production.

The fact that Congress never took the executives tariff discretion away is asinine.

Imagine going back fifty years and telling a Nam vet that in a half a century the Vietnamese Communist Party Secretary General would be having a phone call with POTUS to try and convince him to go for free trade.

Truth!

There is a scene in Edtv when Woody says you are mixing your carbs and starches. You all can't pick a side to be wrong about between commie and fascist.

Tell me in one meme that you don't understand how a global economy works

You can always identity the MAGA memes because they exist for a 3rd grade audience. They require zero critical thinking because MAGA can't think critically.

You couldn't be more genetically ignorant if your mother was bred with the most intelligent pig on the farm.

Fing '****.

Imagine telling him Hanoi Jane would still be a heralded icon of the liberals that would spit on him upon returning to US soil.

They put in far too much work. Not to recognize that work would be considered a sin in various religious text throughout organized religion.

You know what you're told by people who created religion to rule the masses.

According to Judaism he'd have been excused of pedophilia.

Yes, China is really "booming" with that GDP per capita of $14,000.... For comparison, Mississippi, the poorest state in the US, has a GDP per capita of $41,000.

If you had told me in 2015 that the entire republican party would be pushing for an economic policy more closely resembling communist China, I would have never believed you.
