  • Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

So, how is that calculated?

Or is it just 10% to cover that universal tariff?  In which case, that would actually make the ones that were hit with higher tariffs (China) comparatively more affordable to the consumer

This is crazy because I've been assured by libtards that there are no benefits to tariffs, only negatives. So when something like this happens, I don't know what to think because I respect the opinions of the real experts in here.

 No. I'll accept you just admitting you're wrong. I don't understand this whole "delete your account" thing. If you want to delete your account just do it.

Something tells me this ends in a suicide by cop type situation

This is what happens when you’re young and dumb and rely on tweets instead of going to the source.

"The fact that Plant Spartanburg is located in a free-trade zone helps alleviate stress from both US tariffs and tariffs in other countries.”

"Otherwise, costs would be mounting even quicker as a trade war continues to rage. A free-trade zone, or FTZ, acts as a holding area for imported goods to be re-exported. Here, goods are allowed to be repackaged and exported without the heavy tariffs associated with normal imports and exports. In BMW’s case, that primarily impacts components from Austria, like engines. Spartanburg, South Carolina, is the second largest FTZ in the nation as of 2024.”

I post on here all the time while golfing. Especially in the middle of the week. In rapid succession.  It totally tracks.

Reportedly, BMW’s US inventory is sitting around a month’s days supply. A primary benefit of the production increase is price protection. A ramp up ensures models that are made in the US—mostly X models, like the X3 and X5—retain current pricing until at least the end of May. Associated parts will feel the benefit, too. It’s just one creative way the automaker can work around the Trump administration tariffs that may otherwise severely impact customer pricing both US and abroad.

In his defense there is much more time to shitpost when you're playing alone without friends.

wouldn't admitting that you play golf be self-deprecating?

Didn't Ron Vara call BMW a national security threat the other day. Here it is

I guess he thinks it's a status symbol? Or a sign that his life is easy cause he's got free time?  I dunno it's a weird flex. Not quite as weird as Sloth saying we couldn't afford his mom's rate as a hooker but still pretty weird.

Fact: No president in US history crossed 40k more than trump

Wasn’t DHF complaining about losing his job last year? Kind of made me feel bad for him. It’s funny that now that trump is in office, he’s sitting on a ton of land and never has to work again.

All of you haters talking trash about Trump's tariff policy forgot to divide by 1.
