  • Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

...that can't be a positive prognostic sign for the economy.

I heard he's also working on the 30 year car loan

Imagine if you bought a house in 1976 and you were still making the $50 monthly mortgage payment

wacko

"Honey, did you make the 596th mortgage payment to the bank?”

"No, I thought you did.”

lets go for 60

Besides home owners insurance, banks will want life insurance riders.

Good news, everyone!

Now you get to rent from the bank!

I thought the 5 year auto loan was outrageous.

I will bet you if a 30 year came out there are those foolish enough to sign on.

A 5 year auto loan makes a lot of sense because generally it’s not gonna depreciate faster than you pay it off. You don’t wanna be underwater on an auto loan.

Oh dang he's giving out Stimmy Checks again!

Your new car depreciates the moment you sign on the line. Average 15k a year and you have a 75k car. If you keep it to 150k and haven't had any major drivetrain issues your fine. If not its a loser.

If its Korean disregard any of that and take the L.

A 50-year mortgage is batcrap insane.

A 50 year on a $500k loan changes the monthly payment ($2998) only $370 vs a 30 year ($2632).

Assuming minimum payments, after 10 years the 30 year balance is $418k, while the 50 year is $478k.

It doesn't help build equity, and it will only serve to further inflate home prices.

Italian pasta gonna get hit with a 100%+ tariff. I've never hated anybody so much as i hate this man and I never want to hear that what he does doesn't affect me personally. The things he's taxing the most is the nice crap, because the man has no taste.

I can't wait for the mental gymnastics the Trumptards engage in to explain how this won't increase inflation.

HHAAAAAA, if only! We will have inflation and NO CHECKS and they won't even bother to explain it.

Oh c'mon guys. This is not happening anymore than the 5k DOGE checks or eliminating the income tax. It's recycled lies, just like when he says he's gonna get tough on Russia. I have no f'ing clue why the media even bothers to cover it like it's news. When his own mouthpieces immediately walk it back it means it's really, really, really untrue even more than usual.

Trump probably thinks Prego and Ragu are gourmet gravy...... Make your pasta at home like me and then you won't have to pay a tariff. Stealing from Vikas. "Be less Medigan"
