It's honestly stunning that grown adults pretend to misunderstand the topic to this degree. "World trade is good, it's like when you go to your local grocery store" has to be one of the dumbest takes on the subject imaginable.

So we're supposed to be OK with countries slapping huge tariffs on American imports thereby boxing out American businesses from their economies completely, while we have "free trade" allowing foreign businesses access to the American market where they can again compete with those American businesses they just boxed out (not to mention all the other advantages foreign businesses have with lax labor laws and regulatory environments that allow those businesses to produce things much cheaper).

Why gee, that sounds a lot like just heading to your local grocery store to buy produce but failing to sell them anything in return hurr durr! *NPCs laugh and applaud*

Remember folks. 77 million NPCs like this are the reason we are in the predicament we are in right now.

  • Some quick thoughts on "Liberation Day," also known as "Liquidation Day." Obviously, these tariffs are way beyond anything the market expected. I think very little of Trump and the administration

Yet you didn't try to refute anything.

You are quite literally too stupid to refute. Stick to Tweets. That was one of the worst posts I've ever had the privilege to read.

What's wrong about it specifically?

Everything.

Where do you want me to start?

Surely waiting for a nuclear power to kickstart a geopolitical conflict that could threaten the stability of the entire world was the commonsense approach.

Ah that’s right, I forgot that you guys piss your pants when some tinpot dictator makes an empty threat.

But when their own tin pot dictator makes threats it's all good because it’s the art of the deal

You were going to vote for a dementia patient then immediately did exactly what the DNC told you and voted for an unelected moron.

Hey, at least we aren't talking about pronouns anymore. Trump's America is all about sky high inflation, tariffs, breaking families up by illegal deportations, unemployment, recession.... You should be proud.

Tariffs aren’t going to make Americans want to work **** manufacturing jobs.  They’re just going to tank the economy as we just got to see firsthand.

You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. I have yet to hear any coherent argument about how a company like Apple would move their entire supply chain out of China.

They could do it if they made it a strategic 10 year plan or something but the likes of Procus and Diehard can't relate as they are used to punching the Dominoes contact and getting a double pep and double cheese pie in 30 minutes.
