I just saw that that Washingtons hail Mary was brought to you by a massive uncalled hold at the line.

I brought this up earlier today, cardinals schedule has a path to them winning the nfc west. It may be the easiest of the 4 teams when you look at the remaining schedules.

Looks like Gannon and the Cards are #1 based on tiebreakers. 9 Wins will probably take the West.

That was a hell of a throw.  65 yards in the air and bought enough time for everyone to get down there.  Bringing a blitz is a better defense there; send 5 and let the other six defend the goal line.

i remember the one in our Super Bowl, Malcolm Jenkins body checked Rob Gronkowski during his route and no one cared. Hail Mary’s are free for alls

Bears were interfering with McLaurin at the 10-yard line not letting him get to the end zone.  Why they were stupid enough to give WAS a 12-yard completion with 2 seconds still left on the clock; give Romo credit — he called that as the play to run.

CHI never deserved to be ahead in that game.

Yup, it was the previous play that was particularly stupid. Defend the sideline and force them to heave it seventy yards. It was absurd how they simply handed them free yardage to allow them to potentially reach the endzone.

They will need to sweep Washington if they want any hope of winning the division.

Quite possibly yeah… sadly I don’t think that’s going to happen. Washington are going to be tough and splitting with them could be a real challenge.

Looking at our remaining schedule...

Jags, Cowboys, Giants and Panthers all suck. Washington can be had. Ravens and Rams are tough. Steelers are a toss up.

Divisional games can be tough and all, but no excuses. We should be able to handle business.

We SHOULD end up 12-5, worst case 11-6...but we have seen this team all to recently crap the bed.  Let's keep the momentum going....will say that the games against Washington are probably going to decide which team wins the division.

I predicted 13-4 at the beginning of the season. That means they would have to go 8-2 down in the final 10 games.   I see the Cowboys winning 5 more games at best so they are headed for a losing record this year.  The GMen are out of it already especially if they lose to the Steelers tonight.  So it's a game of Eagles Vs Commanders for 10 weeks.   Obviously someone has to get to double digits, 9 wins won't be enough with the Commanders already have 6 wins.  I'm confident the Birds will take the Division at end of the day.

Its wasnt gronk thats what was dumb about it

Hurts had one interceptable pass but otherwise continued his trend of making good decisions.  If he keeps doing that the offense is almost impossible to hold down.

When the Eagles get a lead they become a whole other team.  Fangios scheme starts to actually make sense and the offense can just take what they're given.

It's incredible they still haven't scored in the first quarter.  If they figure that out, watch out, we might be looking at a legit SB contender

Great game yesterday all around.  Lots of talk about the D but what I was most satisfied with was the way the O was handled.

Yesterday was an excellent example of how best to set things up to get the most out of the team with the current Hurts as the QB.  Hurts did everything right and wasn't asked to drop back and throw 35 times.  He is most effective when the emphasis is on running including designed running plays for the QB.  When the mix favors the run it makes things far easier for Hurts in the passing game and his fantastic deep throws really come to the forefront.  He just isn't a guy that is going to be super effective with a ton of short timing patterns to move the ball.  Last year, he was slowed by injury and couldn't run and that really caused issues.  Maybe he can develop into more of a pure pocket passer with time but for now we need the mix we saw yesterday.

- No sacks given up and no turnovers.  On the other side, only one sack but solid pressure and finally two forced turnovers.

- Cincy did not punt a single time.

- First time I noticed DeJean have a really bad play when he left Gesicki alone to come up on Burrow and allowed a simple completion over himself to Gesicki resulting in the Bengals converting on 3rd and 22.  DeJean still had an excellent game in any case and had the fantastic stop of Chase on the 4th down play.

- Edge rushers with an ok game getting pressure.  Smith has made some big strides though still has a ways to go.  Huff looks much better now that he is only asked to pass rush.

- Great scheme by the Bengals to get Chase one-on-one against Smith for the TD.

- Fred Johnson played a great game.  He got help at times but there were plenty of plays where he had to fend for himself.

- Lane going down was really scary.  It was HUGE to have him jump right back in the game.

- Shipley showed a nice burst on the TD run that was called back.

There was the one sideways pass to Devonta, what was the other?

I dont remember. I do remember there were 2 on that same drive.

I think Im even remembering that there was 1 earlier in the game as well.

And the throw STILL didn't reach the end zone, it only got there due to poor defense of the Hail Mary.  Bears played the last two downs about as poorly as possible.   They didn't deserve to win that game.

Comparing schedules with the Commanders.

We both play each other twice, Dallas twice, Giants, and Steelers.

They have the Titans (1-6) and Saints (2-6).  We have the Jags (2-6) and Panthers (1-7).

They have the Falcons (5-3).  We have the Rams (3-4).

The difference seems to be our road game at Baltimore.

There was that one and another where it was a pick 6 if it wasn't a LB. Forgot who the pass was to.
