Seven deep on the OL, top pair of WRs, best RB in the conference, playable depth at TE, an expanding scheme, and a talented QB finally showing some comfort in it.

Let's enjoy the ride.

We still haven't scored in the first quarter.

Somebody better card that girl next to Kermit holding the tall hard seltzer.

Ok I’m ready to make an offer for Myles Garrett. He would make us a top 5-7 defense.

We are currently 8th in total yards per game, 8th in rushing ypg, 10th in passing ypg, and 7th in points per game.

Over the past three weeks...1st, 3rd, 1st, and 1st in the above categories.

Not sure if we are not already there.

Without a good pass rush, I doubt it’s sustainable and good enough to beat teams deep into the playoffs.

I think to beat the lions we could use a big time pass rusher. I think some of the pass rush numbers come from the fact the Browns, Giants and Bengals don’t have very good offensive lines. The Lions might have the best in the league so if you can get a garret type of pass rusher it is probably a good idea

but then again, I brought this up in the off-season that they go after Brian Burns, who was available. And everybody told me they don’t have the money to pay him.

Man, this is just pretty stuff. The thing that stood out about Hurts is that he trusted and used his pocket. He even slid to help protection, and this is without Mailata. His reluctance to stay in the pocket and trust his protection has been one of my biggest gripes with him. If he can continue to do that and progress through his reads, we're lookin at 2022 Hurts again.

Agree.  Hurts has been far better this year at staying in the pocket and that has particularly been the case over the last three weeks.  I'm quite sure it has been a conscience point of development that the coaches have been working with him to improve and now we are starting to see the results.

Do the Browns need CB help? I could be mistaken, but doesn't Darius Slay have a history with Jim Schwartz? I know he'd be just a small piece, but I want the young guys on the field. DeJean, Rodgers and Ringo all need to play.

Did that win versus the Ravens close the door on the Browns floating Garrett onto the trading block?

We shall see.

I would listen if the price is right. Not parting ways with a 1st. But for a 2nd it would be enticing.

I'm guessing you are referring to Schwartz being the HC when Slay was drafted but they, uh, also were Eagles at the same time.

He's been here that long? I thought JS was gone before he was traded here. Geez it all kinda just meshes together anymore.

Compared to previous years, this is an interesting defense because its strength are the DBs instead of the DL. With just an average DL they can generate some pressure, because the coverage is holding up longer.

As annoying and soft as Slay is, he is still better than the young guys. Plus you can never have enough depth at corner these days with todays’s offenses. I wonder if Milton Williams, 2025 first + would start the conversation?

Yes now imagine adding Garrett to the average DL.

The top pass rusher in the league the last 3 years who is 28 is gonna cost a tad bit more than a second.

Victory Monday feels goooood. So how do we make a move for some pass rush help. I’d send sweat/slay +some picks to Clev for Garrett..

Not to pee in your cheerios, but why would Cleveland want Slay?  If they are trading away assets, they are rebuilding.  If they are rebuilding, Slay isn't a long term solution, so his value to them is minimal.

Milton Williams could be an interesting trade chip.
