Agreed.  I don't see him as an island corner like Mitchell looks to be.

His versatility and physicality makes him more valuable closer to the QB.

He reminds me a bit of charles woodson whom was a chess piece with the Packers that moved all over the board.

I think Dejean has that type of versatility.

Smith on Chase was not a good idea lol

That was an excellent job by the Bengals' offensive staff.  Great job taking advantages of formations and personnel.

Ozark, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are all better than The Wire.

Ozark was really good the first season and was pretty good for awhile. Then it went down the crapper in its final season, so much so that I no longer consider it to have been a good series. It became nonsensical as the series wound down.

On the other hand, Breaking Bad was superb from start to finish. And while completely different in tone, Better Call Saul was consistently good.

I’ve never seen The Wire.

There was that one and another where it was a pick 6 if it wasn't a LB. Forgot who the pass was to.

Gainwell on a swing…it was a terrible play call more than anything.

If Nolan Smith continues to progress, it may be 2 drafts in a row.

Everything is extremely fragile right now... don't do anything to upset the alignment of the stars.

Do you really think that Gainwell was the primary receiver?

Woodson was a unicorn.

Yep. They are lucky to have him. Keep Rodgers and Ringo outside.

A bit premature to compare him to one of the best to play the game too.  I sure hope he ends up being half the player Woodson was at least.

Misread this on my original answer, no…I’m curious is it was an RPO though.  He came over to the swing rather quick IIRC.

Imo, the biggest problem with Ozark is that the creators had no experience in the subject. Unlike the Wire and the Sopranos, they were pretty much cosplaying what money laundering for a drug cartel looks like. So it became increasingly less believable. There was nowhere for the characters to go, so they had to create increasingly ridiculous scenarios to move the plot.

The pass to Smith was a read by Hurts pre-snap.  He immediately threw the ball.

The pass to Gainwell was a progression.  There was no one open.  Should have just thrown it over his head.

No insult to DeJean but Woodson was one of the half dozen best DBs of all time, at every position. If DeJean can approach that it will be wonder.

1997 National champs!

Said it before but I can't unsee it. He just looks like the most basic Create A Player face in Madden.

Minka Fitzpatrick is a better comparison.

Kid has been impressive no doubt.

Please never retire. My goodness he's so smooth out there.

Anyone know Siri’s record vs Daboll? This is for Twitter trolling purposes

Just as HC’s it would be 5-1. The one loss being starters only played a drive or two at the end of last year.

6-2 actually if you include the playoff win. They also had the loss Siri's first year when Hurts threw 3 picks and Reagor dropped two possible game winners.

Someone please get Ryan Clark off the tv

That was Joe Judge.

2022: 3-0 w/playoff

2023: 1-1

2024: 1-0
