His slide was the play to be angry at with him. He could’ve gotten 2-3 more yards and potentially the first to end the game

I still can’t believe I watched him pro wrestling leap frog a guy backwards AND that dumb slide in the same game.

No. He sucks and tried to sabotage an easy win. He serves no purpose but to make games harder than they need to be.

If I actually take a step back here - I know a lot of you will disagree given the results and how the plays played out but while he had some major bonhehead decisions today not every single decision that he made which didnt work out was actually bad.

  • 100% disagree with Siri passing on the on the early FG - boneheaded decision #1
  • I think going for two both times on the PATs was the right call. I blame the players execution far more than the decision itself. They were both after the ball was moved closer. The tush push is what at worse a 80% success rate for us? So in most case (~65%) we convert both, and 95%+ chane at least one of them comes off which then is the same as kicking both PATs. Sound reasoning behind the decision, terrible execution
  • By far Siri's worst decision of the game was turnover by downs that happened in the 3rd Q. We needed a couple of inches from the 25 and they called a low probability play. The choice was simple - take the points there and keep the scoreboard ticking over, particulalry with the game situation and what had happned before this drive but if you are going for it, it should have been the easiest tush push conversion ever - bonehead decision #2

Other thoughts

  • The video review was horrible and really is responsible for the game even being close
  • 3 turnovers from the D / ST today. Good to see this given lack of turnovers earlier in the year. Loved seeing Nakobe make a big boy play - great individual effort
  • 17 points allowed is another good showing and generally had a great day but if i have a cause for concern is that they let Jax get comfortable towards the end of the game (moved the ball on us 3 of their last 4 drives), pass rush wasnt getting there and they got converted on both times on the 2 pt PATs which helped keep Jax in the game
  • I love Barkley but going down 4 yards short of a first down wasnt smart, although he, Jalen and Smith were all amazing for the O again
  • AJ Brown bieng out is scary for us - have said it before and will say it again, this team more than any other relies on the Big 3 (AJ, Devonte and Barkley)

I know, but saying Barkley cost us two games is pretty Sirianni

At worst he could have gotten enough for an obvious tush push that ends up being a Hurts pass out of bounds

If hpenis won’t step up I’ll take out his girlfriend mikemack

Between this game and the Atlanta game, Sirianni almost single-handedly cost this team two games. He's a terrible head coach. I hope people are telling this to Lurie and he's not viewing this through the idiotic lens of just wins. That's mouth breather stuff.

Part of me wonders if he thought it was 2nd and 7 and not 2nd and 12. Think he was worried about the sideline but also thought he might have already got the first and forgot they picked up a penalty

Why are we unable to get Devonta going

"We" didnt throw to him while AJ Brown was on the field.

I still can’t believe the NFL screwed the eagles with that Saquon fumble…also can’t believe how terrible Sirianni is at in game decision making, I’ve seen 10 yr olds on madden make better decisions

The 2 point offense and push is not on today…why keep it up?  I don’t care what analytics say right now.

And we’ve been very successful with Saquon on the goalline

Lurie looked pissed when they showed him during the game, I wish they would've shown him at the end

I think the fans feel exactly the same way. We  see this team every week. We see what they can do. We see the players they have and the plays they make. The HC tries his best to turn that talent in to losses.

Sirianni is terrible

almost as terrible as the smells that come from @Godfather’s room when @olsilverhair spends the night

We more than double the yardage of the Jaguars. They got a cheap TD off a terrible call. We dominated them.

If not for Nick and some weird officiating, we win by 21+.

All that matters is AJ Brown's health. MCL sprain = 3-4 weeks. So he's out for our gauntlet: Cowboys/Commanders/Rams/Ravens. Will need to go 2-2 in that stretch. What sucks is that to get the #1 seed in the NFC, we can only afford 1 loss as Detroit is that good.

I definitely think he thought he had the first down.

Lurie is going to get Belichick on retainer to make the 4th down calls.

Yeah. I think he thought it was 2nd and 7 still. Forgot they got a penalty called on them. Cause he really wasn’t close enough to the sideline to consider sliding to stay in bounds

Agreed.

Also find it hard to hate on Saquon when he's done so much for our offense.

Wow Seattle got stuffed on 4th and 1 in overtime.

holy crap what a catch by Johnson

Need a Sirianni emoji so when someone posts something....Sirianni... we can just use it in place of that other random emoji we have.
