I know on Saturday they had him listed as questionable. So I’m guessing they are going to say they were going to try to see if on Monday he could go through warm-ups if he could play. But realized it wasn’t worth playing him and decided to sit him.

He's been Questionable for weeks but all week long all we heard was he's going to play.  Hell, this was Friday:

McCaffrey (calf/Achilles) said Friday that he has no doubt he'll play Monday against the Jets, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Such a surprising liar given he's a man named "Christian" and who's father is a proud graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School :nonono:

I'm NOT salty, you're salty.

Who do you think would be Howie's number one realistic trade target (can't say Urlockerz) after week 1?

Grady Jarrett, Sebastian Joseph Day, Clelin Ferrell, or go all out for Arik Armstead

Would love the Red Hot Chilli Peppers but I'm sure the NFL is terrified of Flea coming out with just a sock on his dong!

@mattwill

Eagles 34

Falcons 21

Jalen Wentz adds to his turnovers. Smith 100 yards/Barkley 100 rushing yards

They just did it like 5 or 6 years ago

Shanahan making a problem where there didn't need to be a problem.  All he needed to say was that he told Mason to be "ready to start" Monday night on Friday -- just in case.  I'm sure he knew CMC was either a game-time decision, or his injury aggravated after the injury report came out.

If CMC is back next week, Mason is getting 0 touches and is on fullback duty

What position groups from Falcons do you think will give us the most trouble on Monday?

It's more a case of individual players in my view. They run left a lot, because of Jake Matthews. Bijan Robinson is a terrific back. Grady Jarrett has always had good games against us. He was hurt last year but he looked terrific against the Steelers.  And, of course, they have Justin Simmons.

Daily reminder that PFF is garbage. I'm not even a big Dean fan but he was not even close to the worst player on the D.

Oh and Carter is actually a bust.

I get that it’s a joke and all — and really, who doesn’t like making jokes at the Giants expense? — but Daniel Jones is actually very mobile.

I do love me some PFF bashing!

BTW... The Jets got the exact same production from Hassan Reddick as the Eagles got from Bryce Huff in Week 1.   :flex:
