It's Williams. Oline has been bad but some of his throws have been terrible.

What hahaha

7 sacks and 11 hits on 37 dropbacks. Caleb got hit 48% of the time.

They also can’t run the ball. Swift has 24 carries on the year for 48 yards. That’s 2 yards of Carrie. They have been brutal trying to run the ball.

Big game tonight for the Phillies against the brewers….

Texans might win the AFC South by 4 games, that division is a disaster.

4 might be underselling it. Richardson hasn’t played enough in college or nfl so he’s further behind in his development. Titans are a disaster with levis. And jags are continuing their free fall from last year.

Not saying he’s the next Peyton manning. BUT you prob thought Peyton was doomed after his rookie year too huh?

Peyton looked the part prior to coming into the league and his game was traditional. Williams won the heisman and then followed it up with probably the most pedestrian post-Heisman season ever, never won a big game in his career. Dude is way overrated and is overly reliant on his athleticism. Bears aren't winning anything with him

This is a wonderful photo.  Nick's son is so funny pointing at the camera. I'm forever grateful to Nick for bringing it home.  I'm also very proud of Jalen for bringing us back for another shot. Hopefully we can return finish the job again.

I could see the Cowboys finishing 8-9 when looking through their schedule. I don’t see more than 10 wins.

Monday morning Predictions Update

"Player safety".  Is there another sport where a player throws up during the game, but there's not an injury timeout?

Asking again for the day shift:

Anyone know what time parking lots will open for the game tomorrow?

Is it the usual 4.5 hours before kickoff or is it earlier for prime time games?

I’m impressed that he could puke like that and then immediately snap the ball and play like nothing happened

The Birds are back in Philly.  This is the "2nd" Home game after Brazil but the 1st in Philly.   For the third Straight year, they will play Kirk Cousins in Primetime.   This time he's with the Falcons.   The Eagles lead the All-Time Series 21-15-1.   The Falcons play the Eagles much better in ATL.  But in Philly they are a horrible 1-9 since 1988.  Primetime Kirk on Monday Night is 3-10.   With that said, Kirk does still have a lot of experience I don't expect him to play as bad as last week.  Meanwhile the Birds are without AJ so other people on Offense have to step up.  Not to mention it's Saint Nick's Retirement Game.    Look losing AJ is always hard but I feel hopefully this opens up the Offense more since he's Jalen's #1 target.  Saquon, Smitty an Goedert shoulder the load but it should be enough.   Kirk is coming off a big injury and is much slower so this young Defense should feast.    I expect another 30 Burger and the Birds move to 2-0 for the 3rd straight season:

BIRDS - 37

DIRTY BIRDS - 23

JALEN - RUSH TD

SAQUON RUSH TD/PASS TD

DEVONTA - PASS TD

JAKE - FG x 3

DEFENSE: INT, MUTIPLE SACKS, FUMBLE

I  also expect a "Philly Philly" Trick play with either Saquon or Jalen in honor of Nick

OK…here’s the game day grenade I’ll drop on the blog before I log off for work for the day…

Hurts does not have a strong arm and still rarely steps into his throws.  He’s uncomfortable in the pocket and struggles with decision making.  He’s a mobile QB who really isn’t that fast anymore and struggles to throw on the run.

And yet when you look at the bell curve across the NFL, against which Hurts is to be graded (and subtract Mahomes)…I’m not sure how many QBs are inarguably better.

It speaks to the quality of the position right now.

So, Hurts stinks. And NFL QBing in general right now stinks.

I agree.

What are you basing this on? Next Gen stats disagrees with you since he, I believe, still has the fastest run by a QB so far this season (19.47 mph).

People around here need to stop validating their own biased "eye test" in arguments. There's plenty of valid resources available to prove or disprove some opinions.

I heard that there are some folks already in the parking lots on the morning news.  I don't know which lot(s) they are using though.
